Also we were within the close in distance to receive <br /> notice on the Annen property rezoning directly to the south <br /> of the one in question. <br /> It is my feeling that the proposed truck repair business <br /> is NOT in keeping with the surrounding current or potential <br /> use . <br /> - The area directly across the street is entirely residential <br /> a combination of some multi family and mostly single family <br /> homes. <br /> - The main access into both the residential area and the <br /> proposed business is a standard two lane road without <br /> turn lanes and has hill vision obstruction that will create <br /> an un-avoidable potential for accidents along what already <br /> has taken several lives in the past. <br /> - The business is one compatible with business that have <br /> established in areas to the south by a mile , where ample <br /> space exists for the location of this proposed company <br /> among similar trade in existance. <br /> - Along the same logic creation of a truck related business <br /> in the proposed location forms a new nucleus stretching <br /> what already exists in another part of the community into <br /> a new island and creating a proliferation of business that <br /> do little to create job opportunities or improve the tax <br /> base to support services generally. <br /> RECEIVED <br /> DEC 2 6 1984 <br /> DANE COUNTY <br /> ZONING ' ".. <br />
