Mr. Bill Fleck <br /> Dane County Zoning Dept. <br /> City-County Bldg. <br /> 210 Monona Ave. <br /> Madison, WI 53709 <br /> December 20, 1984 <br /> Dear Mr. Fleck: <br /> In regard to zoning petition #3360, I am writing <br /> to voice mm opposition to a zoning change from C1 to C2 <br /> on that property. I spoke with Alan Harvey, one.of our <br /> town board members, prior to the Dec. 11th Town Board <br /> meeting to voice my opposition. <br /> There are single and multi-unit residential dwellings <br /> across the street from that property and the land across <br /> the tracks to the east is a planned residential area. <br /> I don't t1-_ink it would be appropriate to have an island <br /> of truck-oriented heavy equipment businesses sandwiched <br /> between two residential areas, particularly when we <br /> have an area where those types of businesses are located <br /> in the highway 19-CV intersection area. <br /> I agree with the Windsor Land Use Comission' s <br /> recommendation against rezoning both this land and <br /> Clarence Annen' s land from C1 to C2.
