CV-Lot #2
Owner-Acker
Cl to C2
Dear Mr. Fleck:
I was unable to attend the hearing on the above referenced
matter since it was being discussed in our township on the same
evening. I do not feel the Windsor Town Board' s decision on the
matter reflected the views of local residents on the matter . I
am opposed to the zoning change from Cl to C2 because:
1. We have substantial truck oriented business in
the Township near Hwy. 19 and the interstate . We,
who live near and drive on CTY. "CV" do not wish
to string out more truck business along the road.
2 . Apartments , duplexes , and condominiums are directly
across from the lot in question. Single family re-
sidences are across the street to the south. We
have one 4 used farm equipment dealer (Clarence Annen )
just north of the lot proposed for rezoning. Mr.
Annen has been there f r about 25 years . His land
was recently rezoned € —Cl to C2 to permit his con-
tinued operation of what probably was a non-con-
forming use . However, Mr. Annen was there before
residences were built . This is not , in my opinion
a good reason to rezone additional lots from Cl to
C2 .
3 . The Town of Windsor Land Use Commission opposed this
rezoning. Minutes enclosed.
4 . At least seven area neighbors at the Town meeting spoke
in opposition. Another handed in a letter opposing.
Two others called Board members .
Two had no comment .
r
