The land he is selling him has no <br /> workable land and is all hills and woods. Mr. Statz wants to sell <br /> this parcel because its useless to him and he doesn't want to pay <br /> the taxes on it anymore. <br /> There are a number of things I would like to mention about this <br /> petition. One of the things is that we amended the petition to <br /> eliminate any of the land being in the Town of Berry. The amount <br /> of land that was in the Town of Berry was less then a 1/2 acre. <br /> We, will have the total parcel to be rezoned in the Town of Spring- <br /> field. There will be no land in the Town of Berry. <br /> We also want to have this petition held in abeyance. So far all <br /> the communication with Mike has been over the phone. He will be <br /> coming home sometime this spring and at that time we would like <br /> to show him exactly what he is buying. If the committee acts <br /> now and approves it, I would not be able to make the 90 day de- <br /> layed effective (lat. So again we wish to have the petition held <br /> in abeyance. <br /> (1) <br />
