It was observed that the height from <br /> the ground to the peak of the storage building was 17 feet,and the height from the ground to the associated eave <br /> (wall height)was 9 feet. The signed and dated plans submitted at the time of permit application show a peak height <br /> of 16 feet,and a wall height of 7 feet,for an average height of 11.5 feet. The maximum average height for an <br /> accessory building in the R-1 zoning district is 12 feet. The calculated average height of the building under <br /> construction is 13 feet,in excess of 1 foot over the maximum height. <br /> This letter serves as notice that your property at 5056 is in violation of the ordinance. <br /> You are hereby instructed to bring the average height of the storage building into compliance with the 12 foot <br /> maximum height allowed in R-1 zoning district.
