A site inspection was conducted and it was observed that numerous junk vehicles and other junk as
defined by the Dane County Code of Ordinance are being stored on the property.
Under Dane County Code of Ordinance section 10.20,all junk, including unlicensed and/or inoperable vehicles are
to be stored either inside of an enclosed building,or at a licensed salvage recycling center and secured from public
view.
In addition there has been a complaint that the 32X32 foot storage building being built under zoning permit
20080563 exceeds the maximum permitted height of 12 feet. The plans indicate a peak height of 16 feet and an
associated eve height of 7 feet. I will be conducting an inspection of the height of the building to verify compliance
with the zoning code.
This letter serves as notice that your property is in potential violation of the ordinance.
You are hereby instructed to remove all junk vehicles and other junk from the property or have them stored in an
enclosed structure secure from public view within 14 days of the date of this letter. If you are unable to comply with
these requirements within a 14 day period please contact me to set up a plan of action and to avoid any further
enforcement action. 1--
Your cooperation is appreciated in this matter. c:, - )-`1
Sinc ely, - Y, S
TdiallOW
Hans Hilbert
Zoning Inspector
County of Dane
608-266-4993
10.01(28)Junk.
