' L . 1 ' <br /> I. <br /> The 15 acre tax parcel which where Exhibit "1" is <br /> located is 14-33-799. <br /> There are five neighbors within a mile of this property <br /> and this Petitioner has written statements from all of them <br /> indicating no objection to this building to be built housing said <br /> law office. <br /> Now, a matter of personal interest . I have practiced <br /> l <br /> law for over 30 years in Dane County and have been in the military <br /> service on two occasions. <br /> My wife passed away in March of 1984 and I am desirous <br /> of truly becoming a "Country Lawyer" in all respects. <br /> My land tax was raised two years ago in one year over <br /> 62% and I can' t seeing paying all those bags of gold without being <br /> out there to enjoy my property. <br /> In otherwords , it should be emphasized that none of <br /> this land or area to be used has ever been in agriculture or <br /> ever will be and as an American Citizen, I feel I can be a better <br /> caretaker of my land than those who do not own such amounts. <br /> I plan to sell my building or rent it out here in <br /> Madison, Wisconsin , but that is not contingent upon approval. <br /> As soon as you rezone it , I am starting to build. <br /> Attached as Exhibit "3" is a copy of an aerial photo <br /> f my farm showing the proposed building site.
