• TOWN OF BURKE BOARD MEETING MINUTES MARCH 21 , 1988 MEMBERS PRESENT : Donald Hoepker, Marvin McCoy, William Graff ALSO PRESENT: Engineer, Don Mayor, Attorney, Frank Bucaida The meeting was called to order at 9 : 00 AM by Chairman Hoepker. Mr. Graff moved approval of the March 1st meeting minutes , seconded by Mr. McCoy, motion carried. Planning Commission recommendations : Ziegler C. S . M. on Fairview Road in Eagle Crest Subdivision. The C. S . M . should include the proposed roads , Karen and Fairview Roads . An agreement is needed to dedicate Karen Road as a future road. Mr. McCoy moved approval of the concept and to have the agreement and C. S. M. drafted, seconded by Mr. Graff, motion carried. . Al Czecholinski from Dane County Public works was present to discuss the Compost Site on Messerschmit Road. They would like to move the site to the property East of the original site . The Public Hearing is scheduled for April 12 at the City County Building. The Board has no problem with moving the site to the East, but request that a 5 year limit be put on the compost site C. U.P. The Board reviewed the annual meeting agenda with Atty. Frank . The Agenda is to be published. Annexation of Don Simons to the City of Sun Prairie was discussed . The Public Hearing is to be held on Monday the 28th of March at the Library in Sun Praire. Atty Frank is to attend . Attorney took all past materials on the last two time this annexation was attempted . Appliance Products case on double assessments : Atty. Frank reported to the Board the status of the situation. Discussion of the land to be donated for a Town Hall site. This was referred to the Plan Commission. Wisconsin Power and Light request to do work on Benjamin Dr. in the Burke Plat . Mr. Graff moved approval of the request, seconded by Mr. McCoy, motion carried. Boy Scouts requested to pick up road sides again this year. Mr . McCoy moved to deny the request for this year, seconded by Mr. Graff, motion carried.
