I have researched this issue and also spoken with Bill Fleck at <br /> the County Zoning Office. <br /> On behalf of Mary Thomann, I have no objection to the Town Board meeting <br /> this evening, Friday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. and a special meeting on the <br /> Mary Thomann file. <br /> My understanding is that the meeting is going to be held so that the Town <br /> can retain jurisdiction to have a full hearing over the zoning change <br /> application. It is also my understanding under Wis. Stat. Sec. 59.97(e) (3) <br /> the Town must file a Resolution within ten (10) days after the public <br /> hearing either approving or disapproving the zoning change. Because you <br /> have not had the opportunity to have a full public hearing, and you desire <br /> to retain jurisdiction to either approve or disapprove, you are going to <br /> conditionally disapprove the zoning application until a full public hearing <br /> can be held. <br /> You have also advised me that the public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, <br /> June 14, 1988. We will be present at the public hearing and I appreciate <br /> your courtesy in providing me this information keeping me up to date.
