bb
I `
$ State of Wisconsin \ DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
I (s .y t Carroll D. Schiller
7689 Schiller Court
Verona, WI 53593
Dear Ms. Schiller:
In regard to the Jungbluth mineral extraction permit, the Department has gone on
record in support of that permit to facilitate the timely abandonment of the
Refuse Hide-away landfill.
The conditions you suggested in your letter seem reasonable. From what I
understand, Mr. DeBeck plans on withdrawing his application to extract sand and
limit the excavation to clay specified as suitable capping material for the
landfill. The borrow source is required to maintain proper drainage, limit
sediment from reaching surface water and be properly abandoned.
The order signed by DeBeck required the clay be applied by August 15, 1988. It
appears your concerns and proposed conditions will be satisfied.
Sincerely,
/S/7—s48`
C. D.
