JAN 26 1987
wdc Eh 2
Richard V. Munz
5338 County Trunk M
Route 3
Waunakee, WI 53597
January 26, 1987
Agricultural Land Environment
and Records Committee
210 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard
Room 116
Madison, WI 53703
RE: Zoning Petition #3856
Ladies and Gentlemen:
I have resided for ten years on County Highway M across from the land
that is the subject of the above referenced Zoning Petition. On
January 13, 1987 I appeared before your committee during a public hearing
to oppose the rezoning.
My reason for opposing the rezoning dealt primarily with a lack of a plan
detailing what is intended for the parcel. Secondly, I opposed the rezoning
because of my grave concern for allowing this development, or any
development for that matter, fronting on County Highway M to have
access directly to the highway.
On Tuesday evening, January 20, 1987, I appeared at the Westport Town
Board meeting to oppose the rezoning for the reasons mentioned above.
Unfortunately, the Town Board did not seem to be particularly concerned
with whether or not they saw a specific plan for this development.
Additionally, they were content to allow the County Highway Commission
to deal with the question of access to County Highway M.
