ARTICLE VIII. EFFECT OF INVALIDATION <br /> In the event a court determines that a provision <br /> of these Declarations and Covenants is invalid or <br /> unenforceable; <br /> (a) The provisions on road access (Article V) and <br /> the restricted uses listed on Exhibit D-2 shall be <br /> considered separable and independent from each other <br /> and all other provisions of these Declarations and <br /> Covenants and those provisions shall not be affected by <br /> the invalidity of any other part and the invalidity of <br /> either such provision shall not affect the validity of <br /> any other part. <br /> (b) The architectural and design review provisions, <br /> including the intent, regulations, assignment, review <br /> process and duration, modification and repeal provisions <br /> (Articles I, III, IV and VI) shall be considered inter- <br /> dependent and inseparable so that the invalidity of any <br /> part of such provisions shall render invalid all such <br /> provisions. <br /> ARTICLE IX.
