L. Petty to Resubmit Rezoning Petition <br /> for Lands in Town of Dunkirk Pursuant to §10 . 255 (1) (c) , <br /> Dane County Ordinance <br /> Dear Committee Members: <br /> We represent Mr. Ben L. Petty in the matter of his request <br /> for a change in the zoning of a parcel of land located in <br /> Section 6 of the Town of Dunkirk. <br /> Mr. Petty is requesting the rezoning of approximately 25. 99 <br /> acres to create two new residential building lots. The land <br /> involved is presently zoned A-1, exclusive agricultural . One <br /> new parcel would be zoned R-1, Single Family, and the other <br /> RH-2 , Rural Homes District. The balance of the property <br /> would be rezoned R Rural 1- <br /> ..L2 b �..+.,e.,. to the icrI-v , icural Homes District, or to A- <br /> 2 , Agricultural District. <br /> Earlier this year a prior petition by Mr. Petty for rezoning <br /> of these same lands was recommended by the Committee but <br /> rejected by the County Board. We have been informed by the <br /> County zoning staff that although Mr. Petty has modified his <br /> original request for four new residential lots to two new <br /> residential parcels, he is nevertheless precluded under <br /> §10. 255 (1) (c) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance from <br /> submitting his petition covering these lands within one year <br /> of his prior submission, unless the Committee finds that his <br /> revised request is supported by new evidence or proof of <br /> change of conditions. <br />
