Please <br /> provide information to address the following concerns. <br /> 1. Concerns were expressed with the expansion of the quarry. Provide information on the current <br /> deposit, the areas that are exhausted, and the need to expand into the northerly 9.5-acre area. <br /> 2. A Committee member questioned whether or not there were any parts of the 103-acre quarry were <br /> exhausted of material and if any parts were reclaimed. Provide information showing which areas <br /> still have materials, which parts are exhausted, and which parts were or will be reclaimed. <br /> 3. Concerns were expressed with the expansion area being too close to existing residential houses. <br /> Provide information on any buffering that will be done to reduce the impact of the quarry on the <br /> homes. <br /> 4. Concerns were expressed about dust generation as part of the operation. Provide information on <br /> the steps that will be taken to reduce the dust. <br /> 5. Concerns were expressed about being informed about future blasting events. Provide information <br /> on the steps that will be taken to inform the neighboring properties of blasting events. <br /> 6. Concerns were expressed about having pre-blast surveys preformed on nearby residences. <br /> Provide information on the willingness to perform pre-blast surveys. <br /> 7. Concerns were expressed about the noise generated from the operation. Provide information on the <br /> steps that are taken or will be taken to reduce noise from the operation such as changing beeping <br /> alarms to squawk boxes. <br /> 8. Concerns were expressed about traffic on Reiner Road.
