AY 5 ... 1'2'57 <br /> May 4 , 1987 <br /> HAND DELIVERED <br /> Dane County Agricultural, Environment <br /> and Land Records Committee <br /> c/o Dane County Zoning Office <br /> City-County Building, Room 116 <br /> Madison, Wisconsin 53703 <br /> Re: Application for Conditional Use Permit/Nob Hill, <br /> Town of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin <br /> Dear Committee Members: <br /> On behalf of and as agent for the owners of the property <br /> described on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof (the "Nob Hill Property" ) , the undersigned hereby applies <br /> for a conditional use permit to allow the construction of two ( 2 ) <br /> four-story buildings on the Nob Hill Property. <br /> Based upon certain representations which have been made to the <br /> undersigned by the owners of the Nob Hill Property, it is our <br /> understanding that the Nob Hill Property falls within three ( 3) <br /> zoning districts, B-1, C-1 and C-2 , with the vast bulk of such <br /> property lying within a B-1 district. It is our understanding <br /> that a conditional use permit must be granted before any four- <br /> story office buildings can be constructed in a B-1 or C-1 <br /> district. It is also our understanding that four-story office <br /> buildings is a permitted use in a C-2 district. In light of the <br /> foregoing, the undersigned specifically requests that a con- <br /> ditional use permit be granted for that part of the Nob Hill <br /> Property lying within B-1 and C-1 districts to allow the <br /> construction of two ( 2 ) four-story office buildings on such pro- <br /> perty. <br /> In connection with this application, enclosed please find the <br /> following: <br /> 1 ) A check in the amount of $65. 00 made payable to Dane <br /> County; <br /> 2 ) A preliminary site plan for the Nob Hill Property (and <br /> adjacent property in the City of Madison) showing <br /> possible locations for two ( 2) four-story office <br /> buildings and related parking on such property (Exhibit <br /> B) ; and <br />
