The associated <br /> rezone was approved and became effective October 27, 1999, but the Conditional Use Permit <br /> was never placed on a subsequent agenda and acted on by the zoning committee. This oversight <br /> was discovered recently when the property owner contacted Dane County Zoning to inquire <br /> about the zoning status of the property. <br /> The CUP is for the following: <br /> • kennels, horse boarding stables, riding stables, hay and sleigh rides, horse shows and <br /> similar events; <br /> • unlimited livestock on 3 to 16 acres; <br /> • sale of agricultural and dairy products not produced on the premises and incidental sale of <br /> pop and candy; <br /> • retail sales of bridles, saddles, grooming supplies and related items at a horse boarding <br /> or riding stable facility (said use shall be limited to a maximum of 150 sq. ft. of floor <br /> space per condition placed on rezone 7596); and <br /> • training of dogs at a dog kennel or training of horses at a horse boarding facility. <br /> ZLR action on this CUP would be appropriate at this time to correct the oversight and ensure <br /> zoning compliance for the existing horse boarding facility. <br />
