Should the Committee choose to approve this petition, it may wish to consider the following <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. Town of Springdale conditions: <br /> a. Outdoor entertainment and lighted volleyball areas shall be open from April 1st <br /> through October 31St. <br /> b. Outdoor entertainment area (concession facility) shall be open from Tuesday <br /> through Thursday until 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 12 a.m., <br /> midnight. <br /> c. Outdoor game area shall be open from Tuesday through Thursday until 10 p.m. <br /> and on Friday and Saturday until 12 a.m.,midnight. <br /> d. Direct lighting for the outdoor areas shall be lit from Tuesday through Thursday <br /> until 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 12 a.m.,midnight. <br /> e. No amplified sound shall be permitted in the outside areas, other than during <br /> Riley Fest and seven [other] times in the seven-month period between April 1st <br /> and October 31St <br /> 1 2. Town of Springdale conditions to be applied only to the annual Riley Fest: <br /> I a. Temporary sturdy fence -- of the snow fence type — to be erected between <br /> properties on west of tavern and tavern from retaining wall due west on south <br /> side of Klevenville-Riley Road across both driveways on Klebba property. <br /> b. Temporary NO TRESPASSING signs shall be erected along this snow fence. <br /> c. The sanitary facility shall be located no closer than 30 feet from the Riley-Klebba <br /> 11 property line. <br /> d. Temporary NO PARKING signs shall be erected on the south side of <br /> Klevenville-Riley Road where the road passes in front of the Klebba property. <br /> 3. Additional Dane County Planning and Development Department staff recommendations: <br /> a. Construct a fence along the Klevenville-Riley Road between the road and the <br /> volleyball area to prevent volleyball participants and balls from entering the <br /> roadway, and plant tall shrubs and/or trees along the outside of the fence at <br /> intervals sufficient enough to provide visual and physical buffering once the trees <br /> and shrubs reach maturity. <br /> b. Enclose the volleyball court with netting so as to prevent volleyballs from <br /> leaving the playing area and entering the roadway or neighboring properties. <br /> c. Provide landscaping(trees and/or shrubs) along all sides of the property that abut <br /> a residentially used property at intervals sufficient to provide visual and physical <br /> buffering once the trees and shrubs reach maturity, unless the neighboring <br /> property owner expressly states in writing to the Department that they do not feel <br /> the need for such landscaping. <br /> I <br /> 1577memo Page 2 of 2 <br />
