1/14/2003 <br /> Town of Berry Planning Commission <br /> Town of Berry Board <br /> Town of Berry Clerk <br /> Subject: Shared Driveway Permit <br /> Dear Town of Berry Clerk, <br /> Please include this attachment with our Shared Driveway Application. <br /> Shared Driveway is approximately 1,800 feet. <br /> Page 2 of the Town Applications Guide, number 2 <br /> 2a.Existing zoning is A-1 Exclusive Ag. Kay and I currently are planning on either building a <br /> home for us and possibly a second home site for one of our family or for selling one or two home <br /> sites.Therefore we are not requesting a rezone with this application at this time. We only wish to <br /> get the Shared portion of the Driveway approved at this time. <br /> 2b. Our tax records should be prove for our right of a driveway and the Town's records show we <br /> have two remaining house sites available. If you require additional information please let us <br /> know. <br /> 2c. (i)Also attached is a map of our farm showing the layout of the proposed Shared Driveway. <br /> The route of the Shared Driveway is the same as the field road that has been used for more than <br /> 15 years. <br /> 2c.(ii) No plat map is available at this time. We are not 100% sure where we want the house(s) <br /> location yet.The Shared portion location will not change. <br /> 2c. (iii) The soil type is GaD2(Type 1Ve-2)with a very small amount of ChB(Type II-e)just at <br /> the end of the Shared Driveway that boarders the GaD2 land. <br /> 2c.(iv)The Shared Driveway joins the existing Shared Driveway between Tony and Jane Varda <br /> and Kahls just prior to the public road right-of-way. <br /> 2f. In order for us to consider placing more than one home at the end of the existing roadway,we <br /> need to have approval from the Town for the Shared Portion. A Shared Driveway agreement will <br /> be provided if needed. We just are not sure if we will be utilizing this as a Shared Driveway. We <br /> would agree that a Shared Driveway Agreement would be provided if we would request re-zoning <br /> for more than one parcel. This could be a requirement of rezoning. We may want to sell enough <br /> land for two home sites to only one buyer.
