Six Standards of a Conditional Use Permit <br /> Provide an explanation on how the proposed land use will meet all six standards. <br /> 1. The establishment, maintenance or operation of the conditional use will not be detrimental to or endanger the <br /> public health, safety, comfort or general welfare. <br /> Fink's Quarry is currently fenced and located on Private Property,owned by Diane Fink who lives on the property.Fink's Paving&Excavating <br /> also operates it's business on rented buildings and operate 6 days a week with employees in and around the property at all times.We have <br /> appropriate lighting and security cameras on site.We conduct our operation within the permited regulations and safety for our employees and <br /> customers. <br /> 2. The uses, values and enjoyment of other property in the neighborhood for purposes already permitted shall be in <br /> no foreseeable manner substantially impaired or diminished by establishment, maintenance or operation of the <br /> conditional use. <br /> We have been operating our current CUP for 15 years without out a compaint from any neighboring residents P es dents orbusinesses. <br /> Y 9 9 <br /> Many local people in the surrounding area are often surprised that we even have a limestone quarry here as it cannot be seen <br /> from Hwy 78 or Hwy 18/151 which are the two intersecting roads.It is our goal to maintain the obscurity of our quarry <br /> so that the farm land that is seen from the North East of our property remains in tack or is blocked by berming and the addition <br /> of foliage. <br /> 3. That the establishment of the conditional use will not impede the normal and orderly development and <br /> improvement of the surrounding property for uses permitted in the district. <br /> Currently Diane Fink owns surrounding property except to the South where Hwy 18/151 runs east and west.No future development is anticipated <br /> for the buffer area between the actual quarry and the westerly boundries of the Village of Mount Horeb.It is currently being farmed for crops. <br /> ly 9 P <br /> 4. That adequate utilities, access roads, drainage and other necessary site improvements have been or are being <br /> made. <br /> We currently have an asphalt paved road that leads to the quarry.All drainage remains inside the quarry to a contained holding pond. <br /> 5. Adequate measures have been or will be taken to rovide ingress and <br /> p g egress so designed as to minimize traffic <br /> congestion in the public streets. <br /> Currently all traffic enters and exits from Hwy 78.Truck traffic is random and sparse,but in the past 15 years has not resulted in any traffic <br /> congestion. <br /> 6. That the conditional use shall conform to all applicable regulations of the district in which it is located. <br /> We will be conforming to all applicable regulations that are required by the Town of Blue Mounds <br /> III <br />
