The property is zoned C-2 <br /> and is used as a contractors operations yard. The neighboring property to the West, <br /> across CTH N is used as a park and ride parking lot. The neighboring property to the <br /> North is vacant land. I94 is adjoining this property to the South. <br /> C.) Proposed use of rezoned area: <br /> On May 9, 2008 Dane County Zoning issued a change of use permit to allow this <br /> property to be used as a contractor yard and office. We plan to store equipment and <br /> materials on this site, in accordance with zoning regulations. The current C-1/A-1 zoning <br /> limits the number of vehicles and equipment to "12 items of equipment" (10.141 (1)(b)). <br /> The proposed zoning change to C-2 would allow"Repair, storage and service of <br /> contractor's machinery and equipment." (10.14 (1)(0). <br /> The rezoning of this property is appropriate based on the C-2 zoning of the adjoining <br /> property to the East. <br /> D.) Time schedule for development: <br /> The existing structure will remain indefinitely.
