The <br /> request is to allow the Zoning Administrator to waive the requirements for the front yard <br /> setback requirements on this property for purpose of allowing reasonable <br /> accommodations for handicapped persons under Dane County Code of Ordinance <br /> section 10.25 (2) (am). <br /> With the issuance of Zoning Permit 2008-0279, I feel that an adequate waiver has <br /> already been granted by the Zoning Division with regards to accommodating <br /> handicapped persons. The covered porch has been allowed to be reconstructed <br /> within the setback limitations of the subsequent variance appeal 1013, which allows a <br /> 7-foot porch to be constructed 13-feet away from the road right-of-way. In addition, <br /> the handicap ramp has been allowed to encroach into the required 20-foot front yard <br /> setback. <br /> The porch that has been constructed will need to conform to the limitations of Zoning <br /> Permit 2008-0279. Meaning, the porch shall be reconstructed so that the leading edge <br /> of the porch floor is no further than 7-feet from the front face of the house or 13 feet <br /> from the property line. <br /> If you have any question or concerns, please feel free to call me a 266-9078.
