Marple, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 1; <br /> Mr. P. Stanley Olson, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 4; <br /> Mr. Russell Johannes, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 7; <br /> Mr. Donald Simons, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 9. <br /> On August 21, 1973, after a public hearing on the petition filed with the Secretary <br /> of the Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 on <br /> July 24, 1973, and after a conference with the school boards of the districts in- <br /> volved, the Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 <br /> failed to order the reorganization by denying to detach said territory from Joint <br /> School District No. 1, Village of Deerfield et al, Counties of Dane and Jefferson, <br /> State of Wisconsin, and attaching said territory to Joint School District No. 4, City <br /> of Monona et al, County of Dane, State of Wisconsin, as requested in said petition. <br /> On September 5, 1973, the State Superintendent sent Notice of Receipt of An Appeal <br /> filed on August 31, 1973, and Notice of Meeting to be held by the State Appeal Board <br /> at 9:30 A.M. on September 26, 1973, in Room B-107, Wisconsin Hall, 126 Langdon Street, <br /> Madison, Wisconsin, to the clerk of each school district and other municipalities in- <br /> volved and to other persons including notice to the news media of the area affected. <br /> Said meeting was held on September 26, 1973, where the State Appeal Board heard <br /> informally the presentation of facts and information affecting the educational welfare <br /> of the children involved in said appeal and after conferring and due consideration <br /> given, said State Appeal Board by roll call vote duly recorded voted by a majority <br /> vote of its members to reverse the order of said Agency School Committee of Coopera- <br /> tive Educational Service Agency No. 15 made and filed on August 21, 1973, thereby <br /> granting the appeal. <br /> The State Appeal Board thereupon directed that an order be prepared by the Secre- <br /> tary of the State Appeal Board reversing the order of the said Agency School Committee <br /> of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 made and filed August 21, 1973, and <br /> granting the reorganization requested in the petition filed July 24, 1973, and grant- <br /> ing this appeal filed August 31, 1973, in accordance with the vote of said State <br /> Appeal Board. <br />
