SAB-151 - 2 - <br /> as requested in a petition filed with the Secretary of the Agency School Committee <br /> of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 on September 29, 1971, was filed <br /> with the State Superintendent of Public Instruction on November 16, 1971, appealing <br /> to the State Appeal Board. <br /> Upon receipt of said appeal the State Superintendent established for the purpose <br /> of deciding said appeal a State Appeal Board comprised of the State Superintendent and <br /> the following named Presidents of designated Agency School Committees of Cooperative <br /> Educational Service Agencies which have no territory included in the order under appeal: <br /> Mr. Andrew Houwers , President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 10; <br /> Mr. Earl Peters , President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 13; <br /> Mr. Frederic Thiel, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 16; <br /> Mr. David Collins, President, Agency School Committee of CESA No. 17. <br /> After a public hearing held on said petition filed with the Secretary of the <br /> Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 on <br /> September 29, 1971, and after a conference with the school boards of the districts <br /> involved, the Agency School Committee of Cooperative Educational Service Agency No. 15 <br /> on October 25, 1971, made and filed an order of reorganization detaching said described <br /> territory from Joint School District No. 1, of the Village of Deerfield et al, Counties <br /> of Dane and Jefferson, State of Wisconsin, and attaching said detached territory to <br /> Joint School District No. 4, of the City of Monona et al, County of Dane, State of <br /> Wisconsin, as requested in said petition. <br /> On December 1, 1971, the State Superintendent sent Notice of Receipt of An Appeal <br /> filed November 16, 1971, and Notice of Meeting to be held by the State Appeal Board <br /> at 1:30 P.M. on January 5, 1972, in Room B107, Wisconsin Hall, 126 Langdon Street , <br /> Madison, Wisconsin, to the clerk of each school district and other municipalities <br /> involved and to other interested persons including notice to the news media of the <br /> area affected. <br /> Said meeting was held on January 5, 1972, in Room B107, Wisconsin Hall, 126 <br /> Langdon Street , Madison, Wisconsin, where the State Appeal Board heard informally <br /> the presentation of facts and information affecting the educational welfare of the <br />
