I also did further research. Attached is an electronic mail copy of a letter that
will be sent to you by U.S. Postal Service. I am also attaching a Variance Appeal application packet and the
Rules and Procedures used by the Dane County Board of Adjustment.
Please note that the deadline for filing an appeal of the Zoning Administrator's decision in this matter is June 26,
2008, as stated in the letter. If you decide to file such an appeal, it is not necessary to submit a detailed
statement of the appeal or legal brief; these may be submitted later, usually by the July 8, 2008 deadline for
the August 28, 2008 Board of Adjustment Public Hearing.
Please don't hesitate to contact me by phone or email if you have any questions about the letter or about any of
the Zoning Division processes I mention.
Sincerely,
Kris Schutte
Assistant Zoning Administrator
Dane County Zoning Division
Department of Planning and Development
608.266.9084
schutte@co.dane.wi.us
Original Message
From: Fortney, Matthew D. If the
proposed deign is not acceptable, if you could provide me with some guidance as to what might be more
acceptable, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Matt Fortney
Matthew D.
