Weiman also states in his letter of 6-9-87 ( re : application <br /> for Conditional Use Permit ) that "The airstrip has been inspected <br /> by aviation authorities , and has received both state and federal <br /> approval " . As stated in our correspondence last year , these <br /> agencies are only concerned with airspace usage , not the land use <br /> which is governed by your committee and the Dane County Board . <br /> Mr . Weiman also indicates in his letter that he has received <br /> support from area neighbors . Please refer to the enclosed <br /> petition signed by area residents who live in near proximity to <br /> the proposed airstrip and who will be most directly impacted by <br /> the airstrip . <br /> In conclusion , inasmuch as our home and the homes of the other <br /> petitioners preexisted the request for this airstrip , we request <br /> you again deny this permit .
