f <br /> Sub. 2 to Ord. Amdt. 13, 1987-88 <br /> Page 6 <br /> 14.71 APPEALS. Under authority of Chapter 68, Wis. Stats. , the Dane <br /> County Board of Adjustment, created under section 59.99, Wis. Stats. , and <br /> under section 10.26 of the County Zoning Ordinance, and acting as an <br /> appeal authority under section 59.99 (7) (a) , Wis. Stats. , is authorized to <br /> hear and decide appeals where it is alleged that there is error in any <br /> order, requirement, decision, or determination by the Zoning Administrator <br /> in administering this ordinance. <br /> 14.72 PROCEDURE ON APPEALS. The rules, procedures, duties, and powers <br /> of the Board of Adjustment and Chapter 68, Wisconsin Statutes, shall apply <br /> to this ordinance. <br /> 14.73 WHO MAY APPEAL. Appeals may be taken by any person having a <br /> substantial interest which is adversely affected by an order, requirement, <br /> decision, or determination made by the Zoning Administrator. <br /> [Sections 14.74 through 14.80, inclusive, are reserved for future use.] <br /> 14.81 PENALTIES. Any person who violates, neglects, or refuses to <br /> comply with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than $5 nor more <br /> than $200 plus costs of prosecution for each violation. An unlawful <br /> violation includes failure to comply with any standard of this ordinance <br /> or with .any condition or qualification attached to the permit. Each day <br /> that a violation exists shall be a separate offense. <br /> 14.82 ENFORCEMENT BY INJUNCTION. As a substitute for or an addition to <br /> forfeiture actions, the corporation counsel is authorized to seek <br /> enforcement of any part of this ordinance by court actions seeking <br /> injunctions or restraining orders. <br /> [Sections 14.83 through 14.96, inclusive, are reserved for future use.] <br /> 14.97 INTERPRETATION. In their interpretation and application, the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be held to be minimum requirements and <br /> shall be liberally construed in favor of Dane County, and shall not be <br /> deemed a limitation or repeal of any other power granted by the Wisconsin <br /> Statutes. <br /> 14.98 SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision, or portion of <br /> this ordinance is ruled invalid by a court, the remainder of the ordinance <br /> shall not for that reason be rendered ineffective. <br /> 14.99 EFFECTIVE DATE.
