i ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT #2691 The Dane County Board of Supervisors do ordain as follows: That Chapter 10 of the Dane County Code of Ordinances be amended to read as follows: • 1. Create a new ss 10.01 (2a) to read as follows: (2a) Agricultural Uses: Beekeeping, dairying, egg production; floriculture; fish or fur farm- ing; forest and game management; grazing; livestock raising; orchards; plant greenhouses and nurseries; poultry raising; raising of grain, grass, mint and seed crops; raising of fruits, nuts, berries, sod farming and vegetable raising. 2. Create a new ss 10.01 (23a) to read as follows: (23a) Governmental Uses: Shall include but not limited to parks, playgrounds, schools, hospi- tals, police and fire stations, solid waste disposal sites and recreational areas. 3. Create a new ss 10.01 (11a) to read as follows: (11a) Cemetery: Shall include but not limited to cemeteries, mausoleums, columbarians, crema- toriums and burial chapels. Shall be subject to section 157.06 of the Wisconsin Statutes. 4. Create a new ss 10.01 (30a) to read as follows: (30a) Livestock shall include but not limited to cows, sheep, goats, hogs, draft horses, plea- sure horses and ponies, mules and poultry. 5. Create a new ss 10.01 (51a) to read as follows: (51a) Religious Uses: Shall include but not limited to churches, church related schools, con- vents and monasteries. 6. Amend ss 10.02 to add RH-3 Rural Homes District following RH-1 Rural Homes District. 7. Repeal. ss 10.05 (1) (c) . 8. Renumber ss 10.05 (1) (d) thru (g) to (c) thru (f) . 8a. Amend ss 10.05 (1) (c) to read as follows: (c) Home occupations..-, as defined in ss 10.01 (25) . 9. Amend ss 10.08 (1) (b) to read as follows: (b) Multiple family dwellings..-, condominiums. • 13. Repeal ss 10.09 (1) (b) and recreate to read as follows: (b) Agricultural uses, the number of livestock kept on a zoning lot in the RH-1 District shall not exceed one animal unit for each full acre. 14. Repeal ss 10.09 (1) (c) . 15. Renumber ss 10.09 (1) (d) thru (f) to (c) thru (e) . 16. Create a new ss 10.09 (2) (c) to read as follows: (c) Governmental uses. 17. Create a new ss 10.09 (2) (d) to read as. follows: (d) Religious uses. 18. Create a now ss 10.092 to read as follows: 10.092 RH-3 RURAL HOMES DISTRICT-3 (1) PERMITTED USES: (a) All uses permitted in the RH-1 Rural Homes District. (2) CONDITIONAL USES: • (a) All conditional uses permitted in the RH-1 Rural Homes District. (3) BUILDING HEIGHT LIMIT: (a) Shall be the same as the RH-1 Rural Homes District. (4) LOT WIDTH AND AREA: (a) The minimum lot width shall be 150 feet to be measured at the front building line of a residence, also 'at the location of any accessory building for the housing of live- stock. The minimum lot area shall be not less than 10 acres. (5) LOT COVERAGE, SETBACK REQUIREMENTS, SIDE YARD REQUIREMENTS AND REAR YARD REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE THE SAME AS THE RH-1 RURAL HOMES DISTRICT. 19. Create a new ss 10.10 (2) (e) to read as follows: (e) Skeet, trap, rifle and pistol ranges.
