NO. 11, 1991-92 <br /> AMENDING CHAPTER 10 OF THE DANE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES, <br /> RELATING TO SALVAGE RECYCLING CENTERS <br /> The County Board of Supervisors of the County of Dane does <br /> ordain as follows: <br /> ARTICLE 1. Unless otherwise expressly stated herein, all <br /> references to section and chapter numbers are to those of the <br /> Dane County Code of Ordinances. <br /> ARTICLE 2. Section 10 . 01( 29) is amended to read as follows: <br /> ( 29) Junkyard Salvage recycling center. A ttnkyard salvage <br /> recycling center is an open area where waste or scrap materials <br /> are bought, sold, exchanged, stored, recycled, baled, packed, <br /> disassembled or handled, including, but not limited to, motor <br /> vehicles, farm equipment, scrap iron and other metals, paper, <br /> rags, rubber tires and bottles. A t:nkyard salvage recycling, <br /> center includes an atttemebile motor vehicle wrecking or <br /> dismantling yard, but does not include uses established entirely <br /> within enelesed bttildings a solid waste recycling center as <br /> defined in s. 10.01(50) . <br /> [EXPLANATION: The amendment establishes a more fitting name for <br /> businesses which exist primarily to recycle society 's castoffs. ] <br /> ARTICLE 3. Section 10.12(3) (i) is amended to read as follows: <br /> (i) atznk and salvage yards salvage recycling centers. <br /> [EXPLANATION: The amendment brings the section in line with the <br /> amendment made in Article 2.
