For nees designated in .Sections 10.Q5. a) (f) , (g) and (h) and 10.12 (1) (g) <br /> the minimum rear yard shall be the same as the side' yard required for such use. <br /> (7) SHORELAND.'AREA PROVISIONS <br /> :(a) Shoreland areas shall include all lands in the unincorporated areas of- Dane <br /> County which ,are one thousand (1,000): feet from the normal high water line of lakes, . <br /> ponds or flowages listed in "Surface .Water Resources of Dane County" published:by <br /> the Wisconsin Conservation Commission, 1961, and alllands which are three hundred • <br /> feet from the normal high water line. or to the landward side of a' flood plain of the <br /> navigable 'reaches of rivers and streams._ . <br /> (b) Lot area;. width and density requisites for lots:located in 'shoreland areas shall <br /> not be less than thoserequired .in Section 10.05 (3) R-1 Residence District, and <br /> Section 10.16 (3) 'General Provisions and Exceptions. <br /> (c) Setbacks from water in shoreland areas for all buildings and structures, except <br /> piers, hoist, boathouses and_ similar 'uses shall be not less than seventy-five (75) <br /> feet measured horizontally, and not. less than' two (2) feet -measured vertically from <br /> a normal high water line unless otherwise specified by the County flood plain zoning <br /> ordinance provisions. <br /> (d) Exceptions to setbacks from water in shoreland areas shall-be permitted as <br /> follows: 11 building on a lot which is within one-hundred (100) feet of an existing <br /> building or buildings with setbacks less than 75 .feet, .shall have a setback at <br /> least as great as the setback of either adjoining building,_ but in.no case' shall <br /> the setback be less than fifty (50). feet. <br /> . ' <br /> - .(e) Normal high. water' line shall be defined for the purpose of this ordinance.as <br /> ' the line. where natural vegetation changes from .predominantly aquatic to predom- <br /> inantly terrestrial.. The Zoning Yupervisor shall determine the location. of the <br /> normal high water elevation line where, not established by a state or county govern- <br /> mental agency.. . <br /> - 23. - <br />
