SECTION 10.25 (3) FEES FOR ZONING PERMITS (a) For the first $1,000 of construction cost .. . .... ..... . : . . . . ... . . ...®...$2.00 For each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof of construction cost ....$1.00 (b) Such fees shall be collected by the zoning supervisor at the time the permit is • issued, and shall be accounted for and paid into the general fund of the county as other moneys collected by the county. The zoning supervisor shall issue a receipt for each fee collected. Zoning permit fees -may be waived for county and town owned building, for churches, public and parochial schools, religious institutions and the like when. application for permit is made by the owner and not the ''contractor. Permits may also be issued and the fees waived for the construction of state and federal buildings where a permit is not required and would ordinarily not be issued. (c) Any permit issued pursuant to the provisions of this section shall expire one year from the date of issuance if' construction has not started within that time. (4) FEES_FOR PETITIONS TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE ANDAPPLICATIONS FOR'CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS (a) Petitions to amend the Zoning Ordinance and applications for conditional use permits $25.00 (b) Conditional use permits and renewals for mineral extraction as provided for in 10.12 (2) (a) 5. • $10.00 ' (c) Erosion Control Permits $10.00 1. Such fees shall be waived for any amendment to the text of the Dane County' Zoning Ordinance when filed by any Dane County Supervisor or by any Town Board of Dane County or for an amendment to the Zoning Maps or application for a condi- '. tional use permit for land owned by any municipality when such a 'petition or appli- cation is filed by the governing- body of that municipality. 2. Such fees shall be collected by the zoning supervisor. at the time the applica-- tion or petition is filed, and shall be accounted for and paid into the general - fund of the county as other moneys collected by the county. The zoning supervisor shall issue a receipt for each fee collected. (5) FEES FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION PERMITS AND VARIANCES FROM THE ZONING ORDINANCE (a) Applications for special exception permits and variances from the' Zoning Ordinance $15.00 • 1. Such fees shall be waived if the land for which a special exception permit or a'variance. from the ordinance is sought is owned by any (municipality and the appli- cation is made by the governing body of that municipality. 2. Such fees shall be collected by the zoning supervisor at. the time the application is filed, and shall be accounted for and paid into the general fund of the county .as other moneys 'collected by the county. 'The zoning supervisor shall issue a receipt for each fee collected. (6) ZONING.COMMITTEE (a) The zoning committee :shall be as created and constituted by the County Board and shall, have the duties as prescribed by subsection (b) hereof. (b) It shall be the duty of the zoning committee to supervise the administration of the zoning ordinance, to hold hearings on proposed amendments to this ordinance and to make recommendations thereon to the county board, to approve plats for record in' accordance with the provisions of Section 236 (10) (b). of the statutes; and to per- form such other duties in connection with zoning as may be delegated to it by the county board. _ (c) Effect of denial 'Of a petition to change' the zoning. district. boundaries: No peti- tion for a change in' the zoning district boundaries which has been denied by -the Dane County Board of Supervisors shall be resubmitted for a period of one year from the date - - 30 -
