SECTION 10.42; 10.43* 10.44 <br /> (b) Signs shall not be permitted within 300 feet of any intersection. The be-- <br /> ginning of a curved access to an intersection shall be considered as the inter- <br /> section for the purpose of sign location. <br /> (c) When located on the same highway as the business, service or entertainment <br /> which it directs attention to, a directory sign shall be located not more than 3 <br /> miles from such place. When more than one clads A highway must be travelled to <br /> reach a business, service or entertainment, a directory sign may he placed in <br /> each approaching 'direction to the -intersection and such a sign shal] not be more <br /> than 5 air .miles from the business, service or entertainment advertised. When <br /> the business, service or entertainment advertised is located within the corporate <br /> limits of any village or city, the distance requirements shall be measured from <br /> the corporate limits at its intersection of the highway on which the sign is to <br /> be located. <br /> (3) Distance betWeen* signs <br /> (a) One sign shall be permitted at any location and the distance between signs <br /> shall be 1320 feet. <br /> (b) Beck to back signs shall be permitted except however a separate permit shall <br /> be required for each sign face., <br /> (4) Permitted zoning districts <br /> (a) A-1 Agricultural District <br /> (b) 13,-1 Local Business District <br /> (c) C-1 Commercial and Light Manufacturing District <br /> (d) C-2 Commercial and Light Manufacturing District <br /> (e) M-1 Industrial District. <br /> 10.43 ON PREMISE SIGNS <br /> (1) Location of signs <br /> (a) On premise signs may be attached to the building they are intended to serve. <br /> (b) Free standing on premise signs shall be located within the required yards of the <br /> building it is intended to serve. <br /> (c) If the business, service or entertainment is located at a highway intersection <br /> an on premise sign shall not be located within the vision clearance triangle. <br /> (2) Height of sign <br /> (a) On premise signs shall not exceed the height of any building permitted in the <br /> Zoning distriot in which the sign is located. <br /> (3) Permitted zOning districts <br /> (a) A-1 Agricultural District <br /> (b) RE-1 Recreational District <br /> (c) H-1 Local Business District <br /> (d) C-1 CoMmercial and Light Manufacturing District <br /> (e) C-2 Commercial and Light Manufacturing District <br /> (f) M-1 Industrial District <br /> 10.44 HOME OCCUPATION SIGNS <br /> (1) *Size of signs <br /> (a) Home occupation signs shall not exceed 2 square feet in area <br /> (2) Location of signs <br /> (a) Home occupation signs shall be attached to the residential building in which a <br /> home occupation is permitted. Home occupation signs shall not be lighted at night. <br /> (3) Permitted zoning districts <br /> - 43 - <br />
