<br /> (29) Lot Lines: The lines bounding a lot as described herein.
<br /> (30) Lot Width: For purposes of this ordinance the width of a lot shall be the shortest distance between the
<br /> side lines at the setback line. On triangular or irregular shaped lots the width shall be the shortest distance
<br /> between the side lines of the lot at the building line. Such building line may be the setback line of a line
<br /> designated on a plat, or in a conveyance of an unplatted parcel. On farm lands, where the distance between
<br /> side lines may vary, the distance between the side lines at the point where accessory farm buildings are lo-
<br /> cated shall be deemed the lot width.
<br /> (31) Mobile Homes Park: Any plot or plots of ground upon which two (2) or more units, occupied for dwelling
<br /> . or sleeping purposes are located, regardless of whether or not a charge is made for such accomodation. Is
<br /> subject to the requirements of Chapter 66.058 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
<br /> (32) Motel: A building containing sleeping rooms for the temporary accomodation of tourists and not for perma-
<br /> nent occupancy except by the owner or resident operator. A restaurant, gift shop or the like may be permitted
<br /> for the accomodation of guests.
<br /> (33) Non-conforming Use: A building or premises occupied by a use which does not conform to the regulations
<br /> of the district in which it is located.
<br /> (34) Park, Amusement: An area, publicly or privately owned, containing amusement and recreational facilities
<br /> and devices, whether operated for profit or not.
<br /> (35) Park, Public: An area owned by the county or a municipality within the county, operated for the convenience
<br /> and recreation of the public, and containing such facilities as the owning municipality shall see fit.
<br /> (36) Parking Lot: An area or premises on which automobiles may be parked, and may include parking spaces for
<br /> the accomodation of cars in connection with a business establishment, apartment building, office building or
<br /> the like. Such lot shall be located in the same zoning district as the building or facility it is intended to
<br /> serve.
<br /> (37) Person: Except where otherwise indicated by the context, the word person shall include the plural, or a
<br /> company, firm, corporation or partnership.
<br /> (38) Personal Service Shop: A shop providing personal services, such as a barber shop, beauty parlor and the
<br /> like.
<br /> (39) Professional Office: A building in which is provided space for professional offices such as doctors,
<br /> practitioners, dentists, realtors, engineers, lawyers, authors, architects, musicians and other recognized
<br /> professional occupations.
<br /> (40) Recreational Camp: An area containing one or more permanent buildings used occasionally or periodically
<br /> for the accomodation of members of associations or groups for recreational purposes.
<br /> (41) Rendering Plant: A plant for the reduction of dead animals or slaughtered animals not suitable for human
<br /> consumption, to by-products, such as hide, skin, grease, bones, glue and soap, and for the storage of such by-
<br /> products.
<br /> (42) Roadside Stand: A structure used or intended to be used by the owner or occupant of the premises on which
<br /> it is located for the sale of farm or garden products produced on the premises or adjacent premises. Such
<br /> structure shall not be placed within the setback line and may not be used for the sale or dealing in merchandise
<br /> other than farm products locally produced.
<br /> (43) Rooming House: Same as lodging house. •
<br /> (44) Setback: The minimum horizontal distance from the front lot line or from the center of the highway, mea-
<br /> sured parallel to the highway or front lot line, to the front of the building.
<br /> (45) Sign: A sign is an emblem, name, identification, description or illustration which is affixed to or
<br /> appears directly or indirectly upon a building, structure or piece of land and which directs attention to an
<br /> object, product, place, activity, person, institution, organization or business. Neither official court or
<br /> public notices, official highway markers, traffic direction and control signs, nbr the flag, emblem or insignia
<br /> of a nation, political unit, school or religious group shall be considered a sign under this ordinance.
<br /> (46) Sign (Advertising, Bill Board or Posterboard): A sign which directs attention to a commodity, service or
<br /> entertainment not exclusively related to a specific location or premises where such a sign is located or to
<br /> which it is affixed.
<br /> (47) Sign (Directory): A sign which directs attention to a business, service or entertainment at a specific
<br /> location or premises other than the premises or location at which the sign is located.
<br /> (48) Sign (On Premise): A sign which indicates the name of the establishment where the sign is located or to
<br /> _ which it is affixed and which also may direct attention to a product not exclusively related to the premises
<br /> where such sign is located or to which it is affixed, but sold or offered upon such premises.
