<br /> (41) Park, Public: An area owned by the County or a municipality within the county,
<br /> operated for the convenience and recreation of the public, and containing such facili-
<br /> ties as the owning municipality shall see fit.

<br /> (42) Parking Lot: An area or premises on which automobiles may be parked, and may include
<br /> , parking spaces for the accommodation of cars in connection with a business establish-
<br /> ment, apartment building, office building or the like. Such lot shall be located in 1.
<br /> the same zoning district as the building or facility it is intended to serve. i
<br /> (43) Person: Except where otherwise indicated by the context, the word person shall in-
<br /> clude the plural, or a company, firm, corporation or partnership.
<br /> (44) Pleasure Horses: All horses and ponies which are kept or raised for purposes of
<br /> riding by residents of the property or their guests but not including horses or
<br /> ponies kept or raised for the purpose of commercial breeding, sale of as beasts of
<br /> burden or draft animals and also not including horses or ponies which are kept on the
<br /> property for another for a boarding fee or horses or ponies which are offered to the
<br /> public for riding purposes upon payment of a fee.
<br /> (45) Professional Office: A building in which is provided space for professional offices
<br /> such as doctors, practitioners, dentists, realtors, engineers, lawyers, authors,
<br /> architects, musicians and other recognized professional occupations.
<br /> 46) Refuse: Refuse means combustible and noncombustible rubbish, including but not limited -I
<br /> to paper, wood metal, glass, cloth, and products thereof; litter and street rubbish, i
<br /> ashes; and lumber, concrete and other debris resulting from the construction of demo-
<br /> lition of structures.
<br /> (47) Solid Waste Recycling Center: A solid waste recycling center is a solid waste dis-
<br /> posal operation at which temporary storage and processes such as baling of paper,
<br /> grinding of glass and flattening of cans, are conducted on segregated solid waste
<br /> to facilitate re-use of the segreagated solid waste as raw material. Also see salvage

<br /> (48) Recreational Equipment: Shall include boats, canoes, snowmobiles; or camping and
<br /> luggage carrying trailers intended to be towed by an automobile or truck and=not G6\,,rjn,.
<br /> exceeding 24: f-eet i-n -length or a camper unit to be mounted on a truck. Any er
<br /> over_24_feet_ in_length.., Jmotor driven camper or motor home shall for purposes of this

<br /> (49) Rendering Plant: AP lant for the reduction of dead animals or slaughtered animals not

<br /> (50) Roadside Stand: A structure having a ground area of not over 200 square feet, not
<br /> permanent by being attached to the ground, readily removable in its entirety and
<br /> to be used solely for the sale of farm and garden products produced on the premises.

<br /> with visibility along the highway.

<br /> (52) Salvage: Any materials, goods, items or parts of whatever type which are saved or re-
<br /> scued from destruction or waste.
<br /> (53) Sanitary Landfill: Sanitary landfill is a type of land disposal operation involving
<br /> the disposal of solid waste on land.
<br /> (54) Setback: The minimum horizontal distance from the front line or from the center of
<br /> the highway, measured parallel to the highway or front lot line, to the front of the
<br /> building.
<br /> (55) Sign: A sign is an emblem, name, identification, description or illustration which is ,,
<br /> affixed to or appears directly or indirectly upon a building, structure or piece of land
<br /> and which directs attention to an object, product, place, activity, person, institu-
<br /> tion, organization or business. Neither official court or public notices, official
<br /> highway markers, traffic direction and control signs, nor the flag, emblem or insignia
<br /> of a nation, political unit, school or religious group shall be considered a sign
<br /> under this ordinance. i
<br /> (56) Sign (Advertising, Billboard or Posterboard) : A sign which directs attention to a com-
<br /> modity, service or entertainment not exclusively related to a specific location or pre- ,;
<br /> mises where such a sign is located or to which it is affixed.
