(28) Junk: Any item, material or product which is no longer usable as originally intended <br /> and/or which, though capable of being converted to another use, is not actually being <br /> so used. An automobile, truck, or other motor vehicle shall be considered junk for <br /> purposes of this ordinance if it meets either of the following criteria: <br /> Is not currently registered. This criterium does not apply to vehicles eligible <br /> for registration under ss. 341.30 or 341.305 Wis. Stats. <br /> Is not capable of operation, lawful or otherwise, on the public highways of this <br /> state and remains in that condition for more than 10 days after receipt of a certi- <br /> fied letter notifying the owner, or occupant, of the premises of the violation. <br /> No automobile licensable as an antique or special interest vehicle under Chapter <br /> 341.266 Wisconsin Statutes, nor any parts car therefor, shall be considered junk <br /> under this ordinance provided that such vehicles are stored as required by ss. 341.266 <br /> (4) of the Wisconsin Statutes. • <br /> (29) Kennels: Any lot or parcel of land on which are kept more than three dogs for any pur- <br /> pose. <br /> (30) Lodging House: A building in which lodging accommodations are provided by previous <br /> arrangement for definite periods of time to four(4) or more but not to exceed twelve <br /> (12) individuals not members of-the family. <br /> (31) Lot: A parcel of land occupied or intended to be occupied by one building and its <br /> accessory building and uses, except as otherwise provided herein. A lot may be a <br /> parcel designated in a plat or described in a conveyance recorded in the office of <br /> the Register of Deeds. No land included in any street, highway or railroad right-of <br /> way shall be included when computing area. <br /> (32) Lot Width: For purposes of this ordinance the width of a lot shall be the shortest dis- <br /> tance between the side lines at the setback line. On triangular or irregular shaped <br /> lots the width shall be the shortest distance between the side lines of the lot at the <br /> building line. Such building line may be the setback line of a line designated on a <br /> plat, or in a conveyance of an unplatted parcel. On farm lands, where the distance <br /> between side lines may vary, the distance between the side lines at the point where <br /> accessory farm buildings are located shall be deemed the lot width. <br /> (33) Major Repairs to Motor Vehicles: Repairs and over-hauling of motor or engine parts, <br /> drive train assemblies, braking systems, body and frame repairs and replacements, <br /> refinishing and painting, wheel alignment. <br /> (34) Minor Repairs to Motor Vehicles: Replacing or repairing of electrical components, <br /> tires, changing or replacing coolants, and lubricants, cleaning and polishing, wheel <br /> tire balancing. <br /> (35) Mobile Homes Park: Any plot or plots of ground upon, which two (2) or more units, occupied <br /> for dwelling or sleeping purposes are located, regardless of whether or not a charge is <br /> made for such accommodation. Is subject to the requirements of Chapter 66.058 of the <br /> Wisconsin Statutes. <br /> (36) Motel: A building containing sleeping rooms for the temporary accommodation of tourists <br /> and not for permanent occupancy except by the owner or resident operator. <br /> (37) Motor Vehicles: Any vehicle which is driven or propelled by gasoline, natural or manu- <br /> factured gas, diesel fuel, steam or electricity and used for hauling or transporting <br /> goods, materials freight or passengers and is capable of traveling either on or off <br /> of the public highway. Farm tractors and farm machinery shall not be included as motor <br /> driven vehicles. <br /> (38) Non-conforming Use: A building or premises occupied by a use which does not conform <br /> to the regulations of the district in which it is located. <br /> (39) Nursing Home: A home for the aged, chronically ill, or incurable person in which <br /> three or more person not of the immediate family are received, kept or provided with <br /> food and shelter or care for compensation; but not including hospitals, clinics, or <br /> similar institutions devoted primarily to the diagnosis and treatment of the sick or <br /> injured. <br /> (40) Park, Amusement: An area, publicly or privately owned, containing amusement and re- <br /> creational facilities and devices, whether operated for profit or not. <br /> - 3 - <br />
