ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 2618 <br /> The Dane County Board of Supervisors does or ordain as follows: <br /> That Chapter 10 of the Dane County Code of Ordinances be amended as follows: <br /> 1. Renumber 10.25 (4) (e) to 10.25 (2) (h) . <br /> 2. Repeal 10.25 (4) , (5) , and (6) and (7) . <br /> 3. Renumber 10.25 (8) , (9) and (10) to (4) , (5) and (6) . <br /> 4. Amend 10.25 (3) (a) 2. to read as follows: <br /> 2. the second or final inspection shall be made before a certificate of compliance can <br /> be issued under 10.25 48} (4) of this ordinance. <br /> 5. Amend 10.20 (3) (a) to read as follows: <br /> (a) Before any premise may be used as a junk yard, it shall be licensed. Application <br /> for such license shall be made to the Zoning Administrator, setting forth the de- <br /> scription of the premises, the nature of the business and the materials to be han- <br /> dled, the type of construction of any building to be used in connection with the <br /> business, the applicant's name or names, officers, if any, and address of each. <br /> The application shall be referred to the Zoning Committee, which shall within a <br /> reasonable time, hold a public hearing, notice of which shall be given by a Class <br /> 2 notice under Chapter 985, Wisconsin Statutes. If, after such public hearing, <br /> the Zoning Committee finds that the premises are in conformity with the provisions <br /> of this Ordinance, and that the site is suitable for the conduct of such business, <br /> the Committee shall grant a license.-, The lleehse fee shall be ben dellars 01979(9)- <br /> per year and such license shall expire on July 1 of each year. Licenses may be re- <br /> newed from year to year on authorization of the Committee when inspection discloses <br /> that the business is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of this <br /> ordinance. <br /> 6. Repeal 10.79 (2) (c) <br /> 7. Renumber 10.79 (2) (d) to (c) . <br /> 8. Create a new ss 10.01 (36a) to read as follows: <br /> (36a) Lot, Zoning: A parcel of land under single ownership occupied or intended to be <br /> occupied by one main building, and buildings and uses customarily accessory or <br /> incidental thereto, including such open spaces as are provided or are intended <br /> to be used in connection therewith or are required by the Ordinance. A zoning <br /> lot may or may not coincide with a lot of record. <br /> 9. Amend ss 10.09 (1) (d) to read as follows: <br /> (d) Home Occupations.-, as defined in ss 10.126 (1) (f) . <br /> 10. Create a new ss 10.16 (6) (b) 3. to read as follows: <br /> 3. Uncovered decks and porches that are supported by piers or posts may extend into any <br /> required rear yard by not more than twelve (12) feet. <br /> 11. Amend ss 10.14 (1) (h) to read as follows: <br /> (h) Bulk fuel storage, sales and eats}de storage of lumber and building material. <br /> 12. Amend ss 10.141 (1) (b) to read as follows: <br /> (b) 6utsrde storage of construction equipment necessary for the operation of a general, <br /> mechanical or landscape contracting business. There shall be a limit of twelve (12) <br /> items of equipment stored on for each use zoning lot. <br /> 13. Amend ss 10.16 (6) (b) 2. to read as follows: <br /> 2. One story bay windows projecting three (3) feet or less into the yard provided that <br /> such windows do not occupy, in the aggregate, more than one-third (1/3) of the freest <br /> rear wall of the building. <br /> 14. Create a new ss 10.18 (4) (1) to read as follows: <br /> (1) Motels shall provide one (1) parking space for each lodging room plus one (1) space <br /> for each dwelling unit. <br /> EFFECTIVE: FEB 1 6 1981 <br />
