The card shall provide the following information; date of issuance, town and sec- <br /> tion number, reason for posting and the signature of the inspector posting the <br /> card. <br /> 3. It shall be a violation of the ordinance for the unauthorized removal of the card <br /> from the premises. <br /> (4) FEES FOR ZONING PERMITS <br /> (a) Fees for permits for new single family homes and duplexes shall be $5.00 plus <br /> $0.025 for each square foot of floor area including basements and attached garages. <br /> Measurements to be made using outside dimensions. When computed the amount shall <br /> be rounded to the nearest dollar. <br /> (b) For all new construction except for single family and duplex residences; for additions <br /> and alterations to existing buildings and buildings used for agricultural purposes <br /> that because of locational requirements a Board of Adjustment permit is required. <br /> Cost of construction shall also include the cost of mechanical equipment but not manu- <br /> facturing or processing machinery or equipment, the fee shall be computed as follows: <br /> For the first $1,000 of construction cost $10.00 <br /> For each additional $1,000 of construction cost $2.00. <br /> (c) Permits to place fill, grade or excavate in a flood plain area <br /> $40.00 <br /> Permits where required for farm drainage ditches or maintenance and soil conservation <br /> practices shall not be subject to a fee. <br /> (d) Zoning permits are required for municipally owned buildings, however, the fee shall be <br /> waived. <br /> (e) A permit issued pursuant to the provisions of this section shall expire one year from <br /> the date of issuance if construction is not started within that time and will expire <br /> if construction once started does not diligently proceed to completion within two <br /> years of starting time. <br /> (5) FEES FOR PETITIONS TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND APPLICATIONS FOR CONDITIONAL USE <br /> PERMITS <br /> (a) Petitions to amend the Zoning Ordinance $75.00 <br /> 1. A town board may, on a one time basis, submit a petition to change the zoning classi- <br /> fication of various lands within the town to implement a town land use plan without <br /> the necessity of submitting a filing fee as provided for in (a) above. <br /> It shall be the responsibility of the town board to notify land owners whose land <br /> will be affected by the proposed changes in the zoning district boundaries. <br /> 2. Such fees shall be waived for any amendment to the text of the Dane County Ordinance <br /> when filed by any Dane County Supervisor or by any Town Board of Dane County or for <br /> an amendment to the zoning maps or application for a Conditional Use Permit for land <br /> owned by any municipality when such a petition or application is filed by the govern- <br /> ing body of that muncipality. <br /> (b) Applications for Conditional Use Permits $60.00 <br /> (c) Mineral extraction permits and renewals $100.00 <br /> (6) FEES FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION PERMITS AND VARIANCES FROM THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> (a) Applications for Special Exception Permits and Variance from the Zoning Ordinance <br /> $60.00 <br /> - 43 - <br />
