Structural Alterations: Aazy chango in the supporting members of a building such as bearing walls, columns, posts, boams or girders: ir Temporary'Structures: A movable structure not designed for human occupancy nor for the protection of goods or chattels and not forming an enclosure. Tourist Camp: Any tract or parcel of land upon which two (2) or more camp cottages are located or whoro temporary accomodations are provided for two (2) or more automobile trailers, tents or house cars, open to the public either free or for a fee. Lot: A -parcel,of land which is or may be occupied by a building and its accessory buildings or uses custoi -mrily incidental thereto, together with such yards or open spaces as may be required by this ordinance. SECTION II - DISTRICTS For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general welfare, the County of Dane, outside the limits of incorporated villages and cities, is hereby divided into six (6) Districts known as: Residence District "A" Rcsidonce District "B" Agricultural District Conunorcial District Service District Industrial District The boundaries of the aforosaid six (6) districts are shown upon the map of Dano County, attached horcto, being designated as the "Zoning Map of Dane County, Wisconsin, dated 193 , and trade a part of,this ordinance. All notations, re�'orences andother t =gs shown upon the said- "Zoning Map ", shall be as much'a part of this ordinance as if.the matter and things sot forth by the' said map wero fully described heroin. No building, structure or promises shall be erected, structurally altered or used for a purpose other than is permitted by this ordinance in the District in which such building, structure or promises is located. No lot area`shall be so reduced or dimished that yards or other open spaces shall be smaller than may be prescribed by this ordinance nor shall the density of population be increased in any mar_r_er except in conformity to the regulations herein established. No building or structure shall hereafter be erected or structurally altered adjacent to any lake or stroam unless it be so situated that the basement floor shall be above the high water mark. No building or structure located within one mile of the boundaries of any airport, emergency landing field or landing basin shall hereafter be erected or structurally altered to a height which is greater than one -cigth (1/8) of the distance between �ny boundary line of such airport, emergency landing field or lsuiding "basin and the nearest part of such building and structure; provided, further, that no overhead power, telephone or telegraph -linos shall be erected within one -half (2) mile of any boundary of any airport, omergency landing field or landing basin.. ' SECTION III - RESIDENCE DISTRICT "A" REGULATIONS Use In the Residence District "A" no'buildin g or promises shall be used and no building shall hereafter be erocted or structurally altered, unlcss,othoririse provided in this ordinance, except for one or more of the following specified uses: 1: Accessory Buildings 2: Comoteries 3. Churches, Schools and Colleges 4: Educational, Philathropic & Eleemosynary Institutions 5•Gardoiz.3'.-nJ and Fariling; except poultry, fur and stock farms ,id farms operated for the disposal of soti =rage, rubbish_ or offal 6.
