In the Industrial District, huildings and promises may be used for any
<br />use except the following:
<br />1. Uses that are noxious or offensive by reason of the omission
<br />of odor, dust, smoke, Sas or noiso
<br />2, Uses which aro especially hazardous to life or property
<br />3. Family4wellinCs, single or multiple
<br />4. Hotels, ' Rooriug or Lodging Muses
<br />S. Schools, Nkseunp, Charitable Institutions
<br />Height: No building or structure hereafter erected or altered shall be
<br />more than five (5) stories or sixty (60) foot In height.
<br />Setback Lines: See Section IX.
<br />SECTION IX M HIGEWAY SETBACK LINES
<br />Unless otherwise described, setback lines shall be parallel to the center
<br />lines of the highways, measured at a right angle to the center line of the
<br />highway, at the distances hereinafter specifiod -for each highway.
<br />At intersections of highways with highways where the grades are not separated,
<br />setback lines are hereby established kcross each sector between the intersecting
<br />highways. Such setback lines shall be. straight lines, connecting_two points
<br />on the intersecting highway setback lines which points are located fifty (50)
<br />feet distant from the intersections of the highway setback'lines.
<br />At intersections of highways an& railroads where the grades are not separated,
<br />the setback lines are hereby established across each sector betwoon` the intor-
<br />secting,highways and railroads. Such setback linos shall be straight lines
<br />connecting points on the highway setback lines and the railroad right of way
<br />lines, which points are located at distances of one hundred (100) feet from the
<br />intersections of such highway setback lines and right of way linos respectively.
<br />No' building or structure of any kind, except necessary highway and traffic
<br />signs, temporary structuros-in the Commercial and Industrial Districts and open r
<br />fences, through which there shall be clear vision, shall be hereafter constructed,
<br />orectod,or moved into the space within such setback lines. Excopt as heroin
<br />provided no building or structure oxcoptan7cossary' highway and traffie.signs and
<br />temporary structures in the Cornn Rial and Industrial Districts, presently olisting
<br />within such setback lines, shall be removed or replaced hereafter in any way,
<br />except outside the setback line.
<br />--No building 'ar structure within tho .ostablishod setback lines, except
<br />necessary highway and traffic,signs, temporary structures,iA the Commercial and
<br />Industrial Districts and open foncos hereinbofore mentioned, ,shall be altered,
<br />enlarged or added to in any way-which will incroaso or prolong the permanency
<br />of any portion located within the established setback lines.
<br />The provisions of this section as they affect "Temporary Structures" shall not
<br />apply to the area within the setback lines . ostablishod across the sectors at the
<br />intersections of highways or'highways and_railwa,ys.
<br />In all casos whore any of the highways for which setback lines are established
<br />by this ordinance, are located on the county line, such establishment shall
<br />apply only within this county.
<br />Setback Lines Establishod: - For the purpose of this ordinance all highways in
<br />Dane County outsi do of the lzmits of incporporatod cities and villages, are
<br />divided into Class "A" highways and Class "B" highways.
<br />,(1) Class "A" highways: For•all highways marked on the official zoning
<br />map as Class "A" highways, setback lines, located parallel to and distant one
<br />hundred (100) foot from the contor line of the highway, are hereby establishodo
<br />The following highways are hereby designated as Class "A" highways:
<br />U.S. Highways 12, 14, 18, 51, 151
<br />State Trunk BQhWays 13, 19, 30, 69, 73, 106, 113
<br />County Trunk fighnays. "T from the north limits of the village of
<br />Verona to'its intersection with S.T.H. $113 and "S" from the west
<br />,limits of the City of Il+adison to its eastern Intersection with
<br />County Trunk I ljway "M".
