Yard, Side: An open unoccupied space extending from the front let line to the roar lot line. SECTION II - DISTRICTS For the purpose'of promoting the public health, safety and general welfare, the County of Dane, outside the limits of incorporated villages and cities, is hereby divided into six (6) Districts known as: Residence District "A" Residence District "B"- Agricultural District Coramorcial District Service District Industrial District The boundaries of the aforesaid six (6) districts are shown upon the map of Dane County, attached hereto, being dosignated as the "Zoning Map of Dane County, Wis.c a7sin, dated 193 , and made a part of this ordinance. All notations, refcronces andetlher tY-71ngs shown upon the said "Zoning Map" shall be as much 'a part of this ordinance as if the mattor and things sot forth by the said map were fully described herein. No building, structure or premises shall be eroctod, structurally altered or used for a purpose other than is permitted by this ordinance in the District in which such building, structure or promp.sos is located. No lot area:�pshall be so roduced or dimished that yards or other open spaces shall be smaller than may be proscribed by this ordinance nor shall the density of population be increased in any manner except in conformity to the regulations herein established. No building or structure shall hereafter be erected or structurally altered adjacent to any lake or stroam unless it be so situated that the basement floor shall be above the high ,,rater nark. No building or structure located within one mile of the boundaries of any airport, emergency landing field or landing basin shall hereafter be erccted.or structurally altered to a height which.'is greater than ono -cigth (1/8) of the distance between i%ny boundary line of such airport, emergency landing field or landing -'basin and the nearest part of such building and structure; provided, further, that no overhead power, telephone or telegraph lines shall be eroctod within one -half (�) mile of any boundary of any airport, emergency landing field or landing basin. SECTION III RESIDENCE DISTRICT "A" REGi L21TI OITS Use In the Residence District "A" no building or promises shall be used and no building shall horeafter be erected or structurally altered, unless otherwise provided in this ordinance, except for one or more of the following specified uses: 1. Accessory Buildings 2. Cometerics 3. Churches, Schools and Colleges 4: Educational, Philathropic & Eleornosynary Institutions 5.Garclenang and Farming; except poultry, fur and stock farms and farms oporatod for the disposal of sewage, rubbish or offal 6, Home Qccupations 7. Libraries and Musomis 8. Hursorics and Grocnhouses -2-
