Structural Alterations: Aty cha._zgo in tho supporting members of a building <br />such as bearing walls, columns, posts, boa:ns :,r girdors: <br />Temporary Structures: A movable structure not designed for human occupancy <br />nor for the protection of goods or chattels and not forming an enclosure. <br />Tourist Camp: Any tract or parcol of lanai upon which two (2) or more camp <br />cottages are located or whoro temporary accomodatioliz are -)rovidod for two (2) <br />or more automobile trailers, torts or house cars, open to the public either, free <br />or for a fee. <br />Lot: A parcel of land which is or may be occupied by a building and,its <br />accessory buildings or uses customarily incidental thereto, together with such <br />yards or open spaces as may be required by this ordinance. <br />Yard, Side: 1.ui open unoccupied space extending from the front let Tine to <br />the rear lot line. <br />SECTION II - DISTRICTS <br />For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general welfare, <br />tho County of Dano, outside the limits of incorporated villages and cities, is <br />hereby divided into six (6) Districts known as: <br />Residence District "A" <br />Residence District "B" <br />Agricultural District <br />Cor:.morcial District <br />Service District <br />Industrial District <br />The boundaries of the aforesaid six (6) districts are shown upon_ the map of <br />Da_nc County, attached hereto, being designated as the "Zoning Map of Dane County, <br />Vdisconsin, dated 193 , and made a part of this ordinance. <br />All notations, references' andothcr tl-iings shown upon the said "Zoning Map" <br />shall be as much a part of this ordinance as if the mattor and things set forth <br />by the said map were fully described herein. <br />No building, structure or premises shall be erected, structurally altered or <br />used for a purpose other than is pormitted by this ordinance in the District in <br />which such building, structure or promises is located. <br />No lot areaphall be so reduced or dimished that yards or other open spaces <br />shall be smaller than may be proscribed by this ordinance nor shall the density <br />Of Population 'be increased in any manner except in conformity to the regulations <br />herein established. <br />No building or structure shall hereafter be erected or structurally altered <br />adjacent to-any lake or stroam unless it be so situated that the basement floor <br />shall be above the high grater marl_. <br />No building or structure located within one mile of the boundaries of any <br />airport, emergency landing field or landing basin shall hereafter be erected. or <br />structurally altered to a height which. is greater than one -cigth (1/8) of the <br />distance betwoon july boundary line of such airpor-L, omorgency landing field" or <br />landing-basin and the nearest part of such building and structure; provided, <br />further, that no overhead power, telophone or telegraph lines shall be erectod <br />within one -half (2) mile of any boundary of azly airport, emcrge_Zcy landing field <br />or landing basin. <br />SECTION III - RESIDENCE DISTRICT "A" REGUU -TIONS <br />Use <br />In the Residence District "A" no building or promises shall be used and <br />no building shall hereafter be erected or structurally altered, unless othert'riso <br />provided in this ordinance, except for one or more of. the following specified <br />uses: <br />1. Accessory Buildings <br />2. Cemeteries <br />3.'Churches, Sbhools and Colleges <br />4. Mucatioral, Philathropic & Elooi;osynary Institutions <br />5 :Garet -o lg and Farming; except poultry, fur and stock <br />farms wind farms operated for the disposal of <br />sowage, rubbish or offal. <br />6.
