In the Industrial District, buildings and prordscs may be used for any
<br />use except the following:

<br />1.- Uses that are noxious or offensive by reason of the emission
<br />of odor, dust, srriokc, gas or noise
<br />2. Uses which arc especially hPzardous to life or property
<br />3. Family'dwellincs, single or multiple
<br />4. Hote1s,'Rooring or Lodf,ino Housos
<br />5. Schools, Museuns, Charitable Lastitutions
<br />Iieight: No building or structure hcroafter erected or altered shall be
<br />more than five (5) stories or sixty (60) foot in height.
<br />Setback Lines: See Section IX.
<br />SECTION IX - HIGHWAY SETBACK LINES
<br />Unless othomiso dose'ribed, setback lines shall be parallel to the center
<br />lines of the highways, measured at a right angle to the center line of the
<br />highway, at the distances hereinafter specified,for each highway.
<br />At intersections of highways with highways where the grades are not separated,-_.
<br />setback lines are hereby established across each sector between the intersecting
<br />highways. Such setback lines shall be straight lines, connecting two points
<br />on the intersecting highymy setback lines which points are located fifty (50)
<br />feet distant from the intersections of the highway setback lines.
<br />At intersections of highways and railroads where the rrados are not separated,
<br />the setback lines are hereby established across each sector between the inter-
<br />secting highways and railroads. Such setback lines-shall be straight lines
<br />connecting, points on the highway setback lines and the railroad right of way
<br />dines, which points are located at distances of one hundrod- (100) 'feet .f 'rom the
<br />intersections of such highimy sotback lines and right of way lines respectively.
<br />No'building or structure of any kind, except necessary highway and traffic
<br />signs, temporary structures .in the Corunorcial and Industrial Districts and open
<br />fences, through which there shall be clear vision, shall be hereafter constructed,
<br />orected or moved into the spsco tirithin'suc.Ii setback lines. Except as heroin
<br />provided no building or structure oxcop:t._nacessary highway and traffic signs and
<br />temporary structures in tho Cof- m- orcial and Industrial Districts, presently existing
<br />within such setback lines, shall be removed or replaced hereafter in any way,
<br />except outside the setback line.
<br />No building or structure within the established setback lines, except
<br />necessary highway and traffic signs, temporary structures in the Commorcial and
<br />Industrial Districts and opon foneos_ hereinbofore mentioned, shall be altorod,
<br />enlarged or added to in any vray which will increase or prolong the permn.ency
<br />of any portion located within the established setback lines.
<br />The provisions of this section as thoy affect "Temporary Structures" shall not
<br />apply to the area trithin the sotback lines ostablishod across the sectors at the
<br />intersections of highways or highways and railways.
<br />In all casos- who're any of -the higknvays for vrhich setback lines are established
<br />by this ordinance, are located on the county line, such ostablishmont shall
<br />apply only within this county.
<br />Setback Lines Established: For the purpose of this ordinance all highways in
<br />Dan ounty outsi cle of oh 71mits of incporpora-ted cities and villages, are
<br />divided into Class ".L` highways and Class I'D" highways.
<br />(1) Class "_1" highways: For all higlmvays marked `on the .officia:l zoning
<br />map as Class "A" highways, setback lines, located parallel to and distant one
<br />hundrod (100) feet from the center line of the highway, are hereby ostablishod.

<br />State Trunk Highways 13, 19, 30, 69, .73, 106, 113
<br />County Trunk Hi Ch- ays "I,i" from the north limits of the villare of
<br />Verona to its intorsoction with S.Z.H. x1113 and 'IS" from the west
<br />limits of the City of Madison to its eastern intcrsoction vrith
<br />County Trunk Highway "Pfi'.
