<br />The proposed relocation of State Trunk Highway y'i113 from the south-
<br />east corner of the villa`o linits of Waunakee southeasterly to the
<br />north limits of t -he City of Madison.

<br />Where the location of two or more highvrays of different classifications are
<br />coincidental, the greater sotback shall apply.
<br />SECTION X - NON- CONFORh ?ING USES:
<br />The lawful usc'of any buildinE, or premises oxisting at the timo of the adoption,
<br />of this ordinance, - althouCh such use eocs not confor'n to the provisions hereof,
<br />nay be continued, but if such non- con_'orr:iizg use is 'discontnuod, any futuro use
<br />of the said building or prenisos shall be in conformity with the provisions of
<br />this ordinance.
<br />The non- conforming uso of a building or proniscs ray be changed to another
<br />non- conformia.Zg use of the sane or a higher classification. Whenovor a non -
<br />conforninC use of a building or premise~ has boon chaazgod to a ra.oro restricted
<br />uso, such use shall not thoroafter bo changed to a less restricted use.
<br />Whenover district boundaries'or regulations shall horeaftor be changed, any
<br />then existing non- eonformi.nG use in suA chc.`zr;;ed' district._raay..be continued or
<br />changed to a use pera�ittocl in the same clist 'ict as that in which the existing use
<br />is permitted, provided that -all other ro6-ulations Covering the now use are con.-
<br />plied with.
<br />Im. odia.tely after the passage and plublication of this ordinance, the County
<br />Board of Supervisors shall cause to bo made a rocord'of all non - conforming uses
<br />in accordance with subsection seven (7')'of `Soction 59.97 of the Wisconsin
<br />statutes as anonded by the laws of 1935•
<br />SECTION XI - COIJPLETION AND RESTORATION OF EXISTING BUILDINGS
<br />Nothing herein contained shall require any cha.ngo in the plans, construction.
<br />or intended use of a building; for which plan's have been prepared heretofore and
<br />the construction of'which shall have boon diligently proseoutod within one (1)
<br />month after the date of 'passaga of this ordinance, and the ground, story franowork
<br />of which,' including the second tier of beans, shall have been completed within
<br />six (6) raonths after the date of passage of this ordinance.
<br />Nothing; herein contained shall prevent tho restoration of a building destroyed
<br />by fire, explosion, act of God or act of the public enony subsequent to the
<br />passaCo of this ordinance; except that a non-conforming use so destroyed, to the
<br />extent of fifty (50 %) percent or more of its assossed valuation, according to the
<br />assessment for the fiscal year, in Vvhich such , cstruction occurs, shall, fron, and
<br />after the date of such destruction, conforn to all of the regulations of the
<br />district in which it is located.
<br />SECTION XII - BOUNDARIES OF DISTRICTS,
<br />In unsubdiviJod property, unless otherwise- indicated on the M- p, the district
<br />boundary lines are the center lines of strocts, highways', railroads, section lines
<br />or quarter section lines or such lines extondod. Whore district boundary lines
<br />are indicated as adjacent and parallel or approximately parallel to street, high-
<br />way -or railroad lines, such district boundary lines shall be assumed to be not
<br />less than three hundred (300),feet from the nearest right -of -way line measured
<br />at right angles to such right- of -vray line.
<br />Where uncertainty exists with respect to the boundaries of the various districts
<br />shown on the rap'.acco�i'anyiz:g and rode a part of this ordinance, such boundaries
<br />shall be doterrilncd by the use of the scalp contained on such nap.
