Lot: A parcel of land iivhich is or may be occupiod�by a building and its accessory,buildings or uses customarily incidontal thereto, together with such , yards or open spacos as may be required by this ordinance. Yard, Side: An opon unoccupied space extending from the front 1ot,11ne to the roar lot line. SECTION II - DISTRICTS For .the purpose - of promoting the public health, safety and goneral -welfare, the County of Dano, outsido 'tho limits of incorporated villages and cities,, is horeby divided into six (6) Districts known as: Residence District "A" Residence District 11Btt Agricultural District Comporcial District Service District Industrial District The boundaries of the aforosaid six (6) districts are shown upon the map of Dano County, attached hereto, being dosigrzated as the "Zoning Yap of Dane County, Wisconsin, dated 193 , and made a part of this ordinance. All notations, references and other th nz gs shown upon the said "Zoning Map" shall be as much'a part of this ordinance as if tho matter and things sot forth- by , the said map worn fully described heroin. No building, structuro or premises shall be erected, structurally altered or, used for a purpose other than is pormittod by this ordinance in the District in which such building, structuro or promisos is located. No lot aroa�phall be so reduced or dimished that yards or other open spaces shall be smaller than may be proscribed by this ordinance nor shall the density of population be increased in any manner except in conformity to the regulations herein established. No building or structure shall hereafter bo,orocted or structurally altered adjacent to any lake or stream unless it be so situated that the basomont floor shall be abovo the high water mark. No building or structure located within one mile of the boundaries of any airport, emergoncy landing field or landing basin shall hereafter bo erected or structurally altered to a height which is greater than ono -oigth (1/8) of the distance between &i1y boundary lino of such airport, emergency-landing fiold or landing•basin and the neared part of such building and structure; provided, further; that no overhead power, telephone or tolagraph•linos shall be erected within one -half (Q) mile of any boundary of any airport, ome'rgency landing field or.landing basin. SECTION III - RESIDENCE DISTRICT "Aft REGULATIONS Use "In the Residence District "A" no building or promises shall be used and no building shall hereafter be erected or structurally altorod, unless othonviso provided in this ordinance, except for one or more of the following spocified uses: 1. Accessory Buildings 211 Cometerics 3: Churchos, Schools and Colleges 4: Educational, Philathropic & Eloomosynary Institutions 5.Gdreloiiing and Farming; except poultry, fur and stock farms ^,m d farms operated for the disposal of somrage, rubbish or offal. 6; Home Occupations 7.
