In the Indu ;trial District, buildings and promises may be used for any
<br />use except the following:
<br />1. Uses that aro noxio1as or offensive by reason of the emission.
<br />of odor, dust, amoke, pas or noise
<br />2. Uses which are o„pocially I,azar�lous to life or property
<br />3. Family" dvrelli zL,s, sinGle or multiple
<br />4. Hotels, Roori?lf'or Lod;ing, H6uscs
<br />5. Schools, Musoums, Charitable Institutions
<br />Height: No building or structure hereafter erected or altered shall be
<br />more than five (5) stories or sixty (60) foot in height.
<br />Setback Lines: Soo Section IX.
<br />SECTION .IX HIGMAY SETBACK LINES
<br />Unless othcrvrise described, setback lines shall be parallel to the center
<br />lines of the highways, measured at a right angle to the center line of the
<br />highway, at the distances hereinafter specified for each highway.
<br />At intersections of-highways with hi %hwa.ys whero tho grades are not separated,
<br />setback lines are hereby established &cross each sector between the intersecting
<br />highways. Such setback lines shall be straight lines, connecting two points
<br />on the intersecting higlwmy setback lines tfhich points are located fifty (50)
<br />feet distant from the intersections of the highway setback lines.
<br />At intersections of highways and railroads where the grades are not separated,
<br />the setback lines are hereby established across each sector betwoon the inter-
<br />secting highways and railroads. Such setback limes shall be straight lines
<br />con.noctine points on the highway setback lines and the railroad right of way
<br />lines, which points are located at distances of one hundred (100) feet from the
<br />intersections of such highway setback lines and right of way lines respectively.
<br />No' building or structure of any kind, except necessary highway and traffic
<br />signs, temporary structures in the Commorcial and Industrial Districts and open
<br />fences, through which there shall be clear vision, shall be hereafter constructed;
<br />erected or moved into the space within- such, setback lines. Except as heroin
<br />provided no building or structure oxcopt.,nucossary highvray and traffic signs and
<br />temporary structures in tho Comrrprcial and Industrial Districts, presently existing
<br />within such setback lines, shall be removed or replaced hereafter in any way,
<br />except outside the setback line.

<br />No- building or structure vrithir_ the ostablishod setback linos, except
<br />necessary highway and traffic signs, terporary structures in the Corunorcial and
<br />Industrial Districts and open fences hereinbeforo mentioned, shall be altered,
<br />enlarged or added to in any vray which will increase or prolong the permanency,
<br />of any portion located within the established setback lines.
<br />The provisions of this section as they affect "Temporary Structures" shall not
<br />apply to _the area vrithi"n the setback lines established across the sectors at the
<br />intersections of highways or highways and railways.
<br />In all cases whore any of the highways for which setback linos are ostablishod
<br />by this ordinance, are located on the county line, such establishment shall
<br />apply only within this county.'
<br />Setback Lines Established: For the purpose of this ordinance all highways in
<br />Dane ounV outside of the limits of incporporatod cities and villages, are
<br />divided into Class "12" highways mid Class "B". highways.
<br />(1) Class "A" highways: For all hi( ° #-Tays ?narked on the official zoning-
<br />map as Class "A" highways, setback linos, located parallel to and distant one
<br />hundred (100) feet from the center line of the hig;hvray, arc hereby established.
<br />The following highways are hereby dosignatod as. Class "A" higInrays:
<br />U.S. Highways 12, 14,.18, 51, 151
<br />State Trunk Highways 13, 190 30, 69, 73, 106, 113
<br />County Trunk Highvrays '11.1" from- the•north limits of tho village of
<br />Verona to its intorsoction with S.T.H. 7113 and "S" from the west
<br />limits of the City of Madison to its eastern intorsoction with
<br />County Trunk Highway 'Wl.
