Section 5. Sections III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII of the ordinance of July 20, 1030, the title <br /> to which is recited in the title to this ordinance, are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 6. Thirteen new sections of the ordinance hereinabove numbered to be Chapter 10, <br /> Dane County Ordinances, are created, to be known and numbered as Sections 10.04 to 10,16, <br /> inclusive, to read as follows: <br /> 10.04 RESTRICTIONS UPON LANDS'BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES <br /> Except as otherwise herein provided: <br /> (1) Use. No building or structure shall hereinafter be erected, and no existing building or <br /> structure shall he moved, altered, added to or enlarged, nor shall any land, building or struc- <br /> ture pr premises he used, designed or intended to be used for any purpose, or in any manner <br /> other than a use designated in this ordinance as permitted in the district in which land, build- <br /> ing or structure is located. <br /> (2) Height: No building or structure shall be erected, nor shall any existing building or <br /> structure be moved, reconditioned, added to or structurally altered to exceed in height the limit <br /> established 'by:this ordinance for the district in which such building or structure is located. <br /> (3) Percentage of Lot Occupancy. No building or structure shall hereafter be erected, nor <br /> shall.any existing building be moved, altered, enlarged or rebuilt, nor shall any open spaces <br /> surrounding any building or structure be encroached upon or reduced in any manner, nor shall <br /> a greater percentage of lot be occupied, except in conformity to the building site requiremeits <br /> and the area and yard regulations established by the ordinance, for the district in which such <br /> building is located. <br /> (4) Density of Population. No building, structure or premises shall be erected, occupied or <br /> used so as to provide a greater density of populat on than is allowed by the terms of this ordi- <br /> nance for the district in which such building, structure or premises is located. <br /> (5) Open space Limitations. No yard or other open space provided about any building or <br /> structure for the purpose of complying with the regulations of this ordinance shall be considered <br /> as providing yard or other open space for any other building or structure. Np lot area shall be so <br /> reduced or dimished that the yard of other open space shall be smaller than prescribed by this <br /> ordinance. <br /> 73 <br /> • <br /> • <br />
