In all cases, if there is a vision corner at the <br /> intersection, the diagonal line shall be construed as the right of way line_ <br /> (b) Directory signs placed on the interstate system shall comply with the requirements of <br /> Section 84.30 of the statutes and the rules of the state highway commission. On other highways <br /> the maximum advertising or face area shall be 128 square feet and no more than.two-thirds of the - <br /> area may be de voted to advertising a product or brand name. When placed in a district in which <br /> only directory signs may be placed and on the same highway as the place ddvertised is located, <br /> such sign shall be no more than 5 miles from the place advertised and the minimum distrance <br /> between signs shall be 500 feet. When the place advertised is on a highway other than that on <br /> which the sign is located, the maximum distance between the place advertised and the sign <br /> shall he 12 air-line miles, the maximum distance from the intersection shall be 5 miles, the <br /> minimum distance between signs shall be 500 feet, the minimum distance from the intersection <br /> shall be as provided in (a) hereinabove. There may be no more than one such sign in each <br /> approaching direction when p sign is on the same highway as the place advertised; if the [lace <br /> advertised is on a highway other than the sign there may be one sign in each of the approaching <br /> directions toward the intersection where a turn is to be made; if more than two roads must be <br /> traveled to reach the place advertised then there may he one sign in each of the approaching direc- <br /> tions for each intersection. <br /> (c) On-pemise signs located on the interstate system shall comply with the requirements of <br /> "ection 84.30 of the statutes and the rules of the state highway commission. On other highways <br /> such signs shall identify the name and nature of the business, the products sold or services <br /> offered, but may not advertise any product or service not available at the site on which the <br /> sign is located. <br /> (d) No sign of any kind may be so placed as to obscure or obstruct the vision of an official <br /> highway sign or marker, a stop and go signal or railroad crossing signal. <br /> (e) No sign may be attached to a tree, fence or fence post and may not he painted on rocks or <br /> other natural objects. • <br /> (f) Each sign shall have attached to it a suitable tag identifying the ownership of the sign. <br /> (g) Application for permits for directory signs shall show the copy to be placed on such sign, <br /> and no change shall be made in this copy to designate a different business, or different <br /> location of the business, until a new permit has been applied for and issued. <br /> Section 7.
