Section 10.17 Setback Regulations <br /> Section 10.18 Off-Street Paring <br /> (b) For all Class E highways setback lines are hereby established, parallel to and distant <br /> thirty (30) feet from the right of way or front lot line. <br /> Section 8. Three (3) new sections of the ordinance are hereby created, to be numbered 10.18, <br /> 1 0.19 and 10.20, and as so numbered, to read as follows: <br /> 10.18 OFF-STREET PARKING <br /> (1) One off-street parking space shall be two hundred sixteen (216) square feet of area, ex- - <br /> elusive of adequate ingress and egress driveways to connect with a public thoroughfare. A sin- <br /> gle stall garage, or one stall in a multiple stall garage, may replace any sigle required parking <br /> space. <br /> (2) No building for which off-street parking space is required may be added to, structurally <br /> altered or converted in use so as to encroach upon or reduce the parking space below the re- <br /> quired minimirn. <br /> (3) No parking spaces required under this ordinance may be used for any other purposes, pro- <br /> vided, however, that open spaces required by this ordinance for setback and side yards may be <br /> used for such parking spaces and approaches thereto. <br /> (4) Parking Space I;equired: <br /> (a) In the local business, commercial and light manufacturing and industrial districts, in <br /> addition to other parking spaces herein required, there shall be provided adequate off-street <br /> space for the loading and unloading of trucks and other commercial vehicles and for the vehi- <br /> cles of employed personnel. <br /> (h) Duplexes shall lovide two off-street parking spaces; multiple family dwellings, apart- <br /> ment houses and apartment house complexes shall provide off-atreet parking spaces as follows: <br /> for efficiency or one bedroom apartments, one and one-fourth (11/4) parking spaces per unit; for <br /> two or more bedroom apartments, one and one-half (11/2) parking spaces per unit; for combinations <br /> of the above the number of parking spaces shall be prorated. <br /> (c) Establishments offering curb service or services to customers who remain in the vehicle, <br /> shall provide adequate space to accomodate all vehicles to be so serviced. - - <br /> (d) e r local business places, banks, offices and professional offices and personal <br /> service shops shall provide one parking space for rach three hundred (300)square feet of ground <br /> floor space, plus one parking space for each five hundred (500) hundred square feet of upper <br /> floor area. <br /> (e) Buildings combining business and residential uses shall provide one parking space for <br /> each three hundred (300 square feet of area devoted to business uses, plus one parking space <br /> for'each family for which accomodations are provided. <br /> (f) Theaters, churches, auditoriums, lodges or fraternity halls and s imilar places of public <br /> assemblage shall provide one parking space for each seven (7) seats. Outdoor theaters shall <br /> provide sufficient off-street space for overflow parking. <br /> (g) Hotels, lodging houses and dormitories shall provide one parking space for each three (3) <br /> !nest rooms. <br /> 94 <br />
