Admi nistration, Enforcement & Penalties Section 10.25 <br /> the property, prposed use of the building or premises, type of construction, estimated cost and <br /> such other information as the zoning supervisor may require. <br /> (e) Such application shall he signed by the owner or his duly authorized representative <br /> or agent; provided, however, that if a prospective owner desires a prior ruling on a proposed con- <br /> struction or use before consummation of purchase, he may apply for a permit, and if such permit <br /> he denied, he may appeal to the board of adjustment. <br /> (f) Coincident with the issuing of a permit the zoning supervisor shall prepare a card, certi- <br /> fying that a permit has been issued. Such card shall bear the same number as the permit and <br /> identify the construction and premises covered by the permit. Such card shall be posted in a <br /> conspicuous place on the premises luring construction, and no construction shall be begun <br /> until such card has been posted. <br /> (g) Fees for building permits shall he as follows: <br /> • <br /> !' or construction up to and including $500 ..._ ._ $ 2.00 <br /> For construction from $500 to $1,000 __ _- __ .3.00 <br /> ror each $1,000 of construction over $1,000 1.00 <br /> Maximum fee • 20.00 <br /> For any certificate, license or fee not otherwise <br /> provided for .. _ 2 .00 <br /> Such fees shall be collected by the zonthg supervisor at the time the permit is issued, and <br /> shall be accounted for and paid into the general fund of the county as other moneys collected by <br /> the county. The zoning supervisor shall issue a receipt for each fee collected. Building permit <br /> fees may be waived for county and town owned buildings, for churches, public and parochial <br /> schools, religious institutions and the litre when application for permit is made by the owner and <br /> not the contractor. Permits may also he issued and the, fees waived for the construction of <br /> state and federal buildings where a permit is not required and would ordinarily not be issued. <br /> (h) Any permit issued pursuant to the provisions of this section shall expire one year from <br /> the date of issuance if construction has not started within that time. <br /> (3) Zoning Committee <br /> e <br /> (a) The zoning committee shall be as created and constituted by the County Board and shall <br /> have the duties as precribed by subsection (b) hereof. <br /> .(b) It shall be the duty of the zoning committee to supervise the administration of the zoning <br /> ordinance, to hold hearings on pr posed amendments to this ordinance and to make recommenda- <br /> tions thereon to the county board, to approve plats for record in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Secti on 236 (10)(b) of the statutes; and to perform such other duties in connection with <br /> zoning as may he delegated to it by the county board. <br /> (4) Penalties <br /> (a) h ny person or persons, firm, company, or corporation, either owner or occupant of the <br /> prem ises, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or resists the en- <br /> forcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to a forfeiture of not to <br /> • <br /> 99 <br /> I <br />
