• <br /> • <br /> Section 10.24 Changes & Amendments <br /> Section 10.25 Administration, I?nl'oreement. and Penalties. - • <br /> 10.24 CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS <br /> (1) The Dane County Board of Supervisors may from time to time alter, supplement or change <br /> by ordinance the boundaries or classification of districts designated in this ordinance, or any of <br /> • the provisions or re gulations imposed by this ordinance in the mariner provided by law... <br /> • <br /> 10.25 ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT.AND PENALTIES • <br /> (1) Zoning Supervisor <br /> • (a) The provisions of this ordinance shall be administered by or under the direction of the <br /> zoning supervisor , who in person or by duly authorized deputy or assistant shall have the tight <br /> to enter upon premises affected by this ordinance at reasonable hours for the purpose of inspec- <br /> tion. The zoning supervisor shall hold his office under civil service, and vacancies in such <br /> office shall be filled by procedures established by the Civil Service Ordinance. The zoning <br /> committee shall be the appointing authority for the position of zoning supervisor. <br /> (b) It shall be the duty of the zoning supervisor to receive applications for huildingpermits <br /> and such other permits and licenses provided in this ordinance, and to issue such permits after <br /> applications have been examined and approved; to inspect buildings under construction for com- <br /> pliance with the regulations of this ordinance; to make periodic inspections; to tatce such action <br /> as'may be necessary for the enforcement of the regulations provided herein; to attend all meetings <br /> of the zoning committee and the board of adjustment; and to perform such other duties as the <br /> zoning committee and the board of-adjustment may direct: <br /> (2) Building Permits <br /> - (a) No_new building shall,hereafter be erected, and no existing building shall be added to, <br /> structurally altered, moved or changed in use, nor shall any non-conforming building he repaired, <br /> until a building permit.has been issued, except as otherwise provided by law or ordinance. <br /> (b) Permits are required as follows: <br /> 1. New construction, structural alterations, •change in use and additions to any existing <br /> building, or the moving on or onto the premises of any such building, in all districts except <br /> agricultural. <br /> • 2. All of the provisions enumerated in the preceding paragraph shall require permits in the <br /> agricultural district with the exception of accessory buildings used in connection with farming; <br /> provided, however, that when the board of adjustment shall have authorized an exception to <br /> ordinance provisions for such farm buildings, such construction shall be covered by permit. <br /> . 3. The repair•or restoration of an non-conforming building. <br /> 4. Signs and billboards, except on premise signs and except those for whibh permits have <br /> been issued by the state highway commission. <br /> . (c) The zoning supervisor in ny require the filing, of a scale drawing of the premises, showing <br /> the dimensions of the lot or parcel, the dimensions of the proposed building, the distance in <br /> feet from the abutting street or highway and from the side and rear lot line , the size and loca- <br /> tion of any existing buildings and such other information as he deems necessary. The zoning <br /> supervisor shall not he responsible for deterring the location of lot lines. <br /> (d) .pplication for permit must contain the following: name and address of the owner of the <br /> property, legal description, size and location of the building to be erected or moved on or onto <br /> • <br /> • <br /> 93 <br />
