R-1 Residence District Section 10.05 <br /> 5. A part of the NSi4 NE%, Section 33 described as follows: beginning at a point on <br /> the east line of the said NW% NE'/ which is south 742:5 feet from the north section <br /> line; thence westerly 264 feet to the center line of county trunk TT; thence south- <br /> easterly along said center line 99 feet; thence east .264 feet; thence northeasterly <br /> on a line parallel to the center line of the highway 99 feet to the point of be- <br /> ginning. <br /> Section 5, Sections III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII of the ordinance of July 20, 1938, <br /> the title to which is recited in the title .to this ordinance, are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 6. Thirteen (13) new sections of the ordinance hereinabove numbered to be <br /> Chapter 10, Dane County.Ordinances, are created, to.be known and numbered as Sections <br /> 10.04 to 10.16, inclusive, to read as follows: <br /> 10.04 RESTRICTIONS .UPON LANDS, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES. <br /> Except as otherwise herein provided: <br /> (1)" Use. No building or structure shall hereafter.be erected, and no existing <br /> building or structure sha.11,be moved, altered, added to, or enlarged, nor shall any <br /> land, building, structure or premises be used, designed or intended to be used for <br /> any purpose, or in any manner.other than a use designated in this ordinance as per- <br /> permitted in the district in.which land, building or structure or premises is located. <br /> (2) Height. No building or structure shall be erected, nor shall any existing <br /> building or structure be moved, reconditioned, added to or structurally altered to <br /> exceed in height the limit established by this ordinance for the district in which <br /> • such building'or structure is 'located. <br /> (3) Percentage of Lot Occupancy. No building or structure shall hereafter be <br /> erected, nor shall any existing building be moved, altered, enlarged or rebuilt, nor <br /> shall any open spaces surrounding any building or structure be encroached upon or re- <br /> duced in any manner, nor shall a greater percentage of lot be occupied, except in con- <br /> formity to the building site requirements and the area and yard regulations estab- <br /> lished by this ordinance, for the district in which such building is located. <br /> (4) Density of Population. No building, structure or premises shall be erected, <br /> occupied or used to as to provide a greater density of population than is allowed by <br /> the terms of this ordinance for the district in which such building, structure or <br /> premises is.located. • <br /> (5) Open Space Limitations. No yard of other open space provided about any build- <br /> ing or structure for the purpose of complying with the regulations of this ordinance <br /> shall be considered as providing yard or open space for any other building or struc- <br /> ture. No lot area shalr be so reduced or diminished that yards or other open spaces <br /> shall be smaller than prescribed by this ordinance. <br /> 10.05 R-1 RESIDENCE DISTRICT. <br /> (1} Uses Permitted: <br /> (a) Single farmiily detached dwellings. <br /> (b) Gardening, including truck gardens, nurseries and green houses, but not in- <br /> cluding the raising or keeping.of poutry, livestock or fur bearigg animals, including <br /> rabbits, except as otherwise herein provided. The keeping of horses and ponies, not <br /> to exceed four in number, belonging to the owner or occupant of the premises, and not <br /> for hire, shall be permitted in this district. <br /> -57- <br />
